Yep the No Fun League has done it again:

    ttp://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/specials/playoffs/2006/02/01/bc.fbn.superbowl.church.ap/index.html

Here's one kicker in that story:

"But the NFL objected to the church's plans to use a projector to show the game, saying the law limits it to one TV no bigger than 55 inches."

Now there has to be a home in the Indy area that's got a TV screen larger than 55 inches and is hosting a SB party of 20 or more people. The NFL going to scream copyright violation on that one?

It is all about the $$$$. Those sports bars and other places with TVs and large capacities, pay a higher price then home folks for their NFL ticket subscriptions during the regular season.

Thats kind of funny. MY brother in law and sister are flying to indynoplace this weekend for a huge super bowl party. Probably 50+ old friends all from indy and the chicago area all getting together. And I'm sure they're going to watch it on a huge t.v. at some persons house party. :abq1: :abq2: :abq2: :abq1: :icon_toast: I sense revolution on the way.

    I have a 50" and a 43" with about 35 people coming over .. I'm wondering if I'm breaking the NFL rules.. :)

Seriously .. is this an NFL thing do you think or an Indy thing?

It's nice to know that the NFL has forgotten what it is that makes the Superbowl so popular.

Hey, NFL! It's kinda like a national holiday, and people like to get together on national holidays and party!

If the NFL tries to turn the SB into a "one TV per family" event they'll find out that a lot of people can find better things to do with their time on SB Sunday.

WTH?? This is going too far. The companies who pay big bucks for their commercials to be aired might like to hear about this since it may cause a lot of people to not watch the game.
