Here are some REAL quotes by Pats fans on other forums fallowing training camp.

DylanEilTon: "I know we'll lose at least 2 of the first six games, possibly against the Jets, Chargers, or Bengals."

patfanfrommaine: "Chargers will be a lose 27-21"

saclute: "Starting to get bad feelings about the first half of the season."

TNPatsFan: "I'm sorry, but I have us losing to both the Chargers and Bengals. If we cant stop their offenses Brady will never touch the field anyway."

Fallowing a very poor training camp where......
    A) Randy Moss hasnt touched the field yet. (You cant convince me that a hamstring is a 6 week injury.)
    B) Of their 5 recievers, there are only 27 combined catches from Tom Brady, they have ZERO chemistry.
    C) Rodney Harrison getting suspended I couldnt have guessed, but I knew he'd never play a whole season.
    D) Bellichick said just last week that the Pats are not even close to game ready.
    E) A star player (in this case their best player) gets injured on defense.
    F) Maroney is coming off shoulder surgery which is always MAJOR for RB's.

the media is also starting to wonder if moss was such a bright idea and are starting to slowly climb off the bandwagon

I think their best case scenario is 4-2 in the first six. They could lose to the Bolts, Bengals, the Jets, and even the Cowboys (who I think is also an overrated team: watch Romo implode this year.)

    They are still dangerous.

Even though I think we'll win week 2, I don't think it will be another 41-17 score like in 2005.

    I'm thinking 27 - 20.

No doubt this team is still dangerous. But their evil plan has some major holes.

And without Harrison and Seymour and a LB corps full of senior citizens their defense might fold faster than the French army.

of course their dangerous, any team that has won so many super bowls so recently is dangerous and can beat you any number of ways. Let's not forget the Pats have done more with alot less as of late - they beat us without Harrison last year and with scrubs at safety and cornerback and Caldwell at WR. They are still talented even with missing two cornerstones at defense

I'd still be worried because Tom Brady's the QB

God do I hope you're right. I friggin' hate Tony Romo and I don't even know why. I mean I despise the cowboys and 99% of their fanbase. But my loathing for Tony Romo goes beyond explaination.

As the Pat fan said "Brady will never touch the field if we cant stop their offense."

And even when he does he has little or NO chemistry with his WR's.

I couldn't care less about the Pats, as long as they lose in week two by at least one point.

Exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn't overlook them, injuries, suspensions, etc. They are still dangerous. I was thinking we would roll them in the playoffs too and look what happened....:icon_sad:

The Pats chemistry has been altered by the addition of Moss and Stallworth. Their defense is compromised by the lost of Rodney and Seymour, which alters the chemistry even more. They may still be a dangerous team, but they are less than they were when we beat them in their house and they're less than they were in the playoffs. We, however, are more than we were both times. I suspect that New England will play us closer than the Bears, but we still go 2-0. We'll find out for sure soon, but Rivers has it all over Grossman and I'll take him over Brady right now. Going unbeaten is unlikely for any team, but we are capable of beating everyone we play.

We beat the Pats even if they were at full strength. We simply have the best group of players assembled in the NFL. If I were a Pats fan I'd be worried about San Diego also and I hope we get a second shot at them in the playoffs again this year.:bolt:

You know how it works with these cheaters they say "yah we're going to lose" and belichick says "we're not even close to ready" and then they come out 110% and if they win their fans act like dikwads. Anyone who buys into it is dumb.

Good points. I am not ready to get Rivers' a spot in Canton quite yet, but I do believe he holds the key to the season. The coaching changes are less than desirable, but honestly it's the same schemes with the same players. Rivers had a great year last year, despite a few rookie-esque meltdowns. If he gets that worked out and can really stay focused, the sky is the limit. Despite popular opinion in the media, I am not worried about the wide receiver position. Cornerback on the other hand.... :icon_eek:

Getting geeked up for Chicago and New England should be pretty easy. I want to see them give just as much effort against teams like Green Bay or Houston. Those are the sorts of games that can punch you in the mouth if you lose your focus, and they are the ones that have to be won if they are to be there in February.

They've been less than impressive in the preseason, and they haven't sheltered their prime guys like we have.

Very true but the big question is "will Moss and Stallworth help or hurt the team?"
It will make a huge difference but we just don't know which direction.
