Well, I head across the pond tomorrow for the Pats/Bucs game in London. Hopefully this "canon fodder" section of our schedule doesn't lull the team into a false sense of security. We need all the wins we can get.

If they lose I may not come back. I'll do the whole expatriate thing.....no pun intended.

It should be a lot like a Pats home game. They had to add several more Boston - London planes to handle all the fans traveling over there.

I hope your Chiefs/Raiders weeks ahead work out like our Titans/Bucs should.

Have a safe trip, dude. Plenty of good pubs in London, although I got to drink more in Nottingham myself.

    I recommend Strongbow. :icon_toast:

Patriots need the road win...they are 0-2 so far. This game and then the bye week, and then they move into the tough part of the schedule. They meet a red hot Miami, then Indianapolis, the Jets, New Orleans, and Miami again...five tough games that will make or break their season.

Have a great weekend Beer Guy...give my best to the Queen.

    Thanks everyone.

Usually, these work trips are of the "What happens in Vegas....stays in Vegas," variety. That being said, I am still bringing a camera and I will definitely post pics.

I wonder if the Pats brought the Minutemen, that fire their muskets after a score, with them to London. That would be a pretty nice poke in the eye for the Brits.......

Have a blast BG!. Don't drink the Guinness, not as good as over here. I would recommend sticking to the real ales eg. Bombardier, Deuchars, Landlord IPA. All very gorgeous indeed. Pity I am not over there this weekend, would loved to have shared a few scoops with ya!. Enjoy!.

Is that right? Are you talking about the Guinness in London? Or in Ireland?

Good luck to you and your friends. Have some nice days
in London. I had them last year. 2 days of american footbal
and 2 days of english culture. Sorry , but I vote for Buccs
not to have the Chargers vs. Pats in the playoffs:lol:

Thank gawd. Now I can visit Ireland.

Not sure what beer(s) I was drinking in London, but I don't remember Guinness being in the regular rotation. The food was so bad the only thing I consumed was beer.

The Strongbow that I had wasn't cider. Or maybe I'm mistaken on the name. :icon_huh:

Excuse me... let me rephrase that.

Imported Guiness is still better than all known forms of American beer produced commercially by major brewing companies.

Have you ever tried a Black Velvet. Half pint of Guinness with a half pint of cider thrown in on top. Sounds lethal.
