    <font class="newstext">The nonbinding recommendation of the San Diego Unified Port District's Maritime Advisory Committee will be delivered Tuesday to the port commissioners when they hear a presentation from National City officials proposing to build a stadium on land mostly owned by the port. </font>

    <font class="newstext">Talk of a stadium at the site – west of Interstate 5 and south of Bay Marina Drive – has touched off a clash between businesses that rely on the port's nearby marine cargo terminal and National City officials seeking to generate more revenue for their cash-strapped city.</font></blockquote>
