    NFL passing schedule

Michael Fabiano has ranked us 32nd in the league in total points with 164.

    I don't agree with that.

that does seem schedule based since us, the chiefs, the broncos and raiders are all in the very bottom of the list

Dude has the Indy Passing ranked 12th and NE who put up nutting passing numbers at 28th.

Having TB at #1. :icon_rofl: and the Bears at #5 :icon_rofl:

That was some 4-way WP and he took all 4.

Hes not saying our Passing game sucks he just did an analysis of the pass defences we have to play this year. Alot of the teams we play had good pass d's because they sucked and teams were ahead most of the time and the ran the ball. BUT this is still a dumb ranker.:icon_tease:

I think if I renamed this thread to ( Statistician on Acid ) that it would probably insult acid users all over the world. I would not want to insult them now. :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

Do you guys even read what the article is about, or do you just see us at the bottom and get bent? All he did was go off of last years pass defenses in order, add up the "points" (1 if you were the number one pass defense, 32 if you were the worst), the higher the score the "easier" the pass defenses you play next year.

Yes I read it, but this is a prime example of a stat that is just fuked up from a reality standpoint. Even FF reality.

This list would make you think that the CHI QB was a better pick then Manning or Brady, from a scheduling view.

Passer rankings, not sure what he is determining by pass defenses I assume passing yards, are strongly affected by many factors. The biggest factors are run defense, a poor one means teams will be passed on less, and the teams they played against. If a team played against a lot of bad passing teams their numbers will be higher.

So take it for what it is, but passer rating might be a better indicator of pass defenses.
