SAN DIEGO ---- For a quarter and a half Sunday night, it seemed as though the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense was playing with 12 men on the Qualcomm Stadium field. Blitzes coming from every conceivable angle allotted Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers scant time to throw and LaDainian Tomlinson even less room to run.

Nothing was working for the guys in powder blue.

But facing a 10-point deficit just before the half, the Chargers shunned the urge to scrap the game plan as they came back for the 23-13 victory.</blockquote>
