Thats the way the Pats run. If Igor blows a couple of play, expect him to get smacked a little in the post-game otherwise from the team no smack.

Fans and media will talk more smack than you can shake a stick at.

Its all part of the mind game package that the pats play.

They try to flatter opponents, taking their anger away.

More bullshit. Listen to their press conferences when they play the Dolphins, same ****. Our boys are to smart to get lulled into overconfidence by those guys.

Teams don't go 17-0 by not respecting every opponent they play.

chargers are the better team. Only way the pats can win is the reffs keep allowing the pats o-line to keep holding and their d-backs their usual cheap shots. Chargers in a fair game would win easily.

Seems and sounds like the media and conglomerates and pats are a bit worried. They know the chargers can win this game.

Meh, just another example of the "patriot way."

Suck your dick before the game, then try and rip you a new one afterwards.

    Bunch of fags

umm... running up the score, playing your starters when you have a four touchdown lead and STILL trying to score. some respect. watch the chargers broncos MNF game. compare that to the pats and well talk respect. dont come in here trying to sugarcoat your teams playing style

I saw all that stuff that Belichick and the Pats players have been saying about the Bolts.

It's out of the "cold, ruthless killer" handbook.

Tell your intended victim how good they look and have been doing, right before you stab them and tear their heart out.

The mafia does that as well. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer and all that jazz.

The fans and reporters do not have to go out on the field and play the Chargers.
If the Patsies though like them, they would not be where they are.

    QFT.

They are the Eddie Haskel's of the NFL. They will always be nothing more than a cheating, lowlife, POS franchise on par with the Raiders for the rest of time.

Yep, don't buy it for a second.

If it was our place, and they won, they'd dance and piss all over our logo again in an instant.

Fuc them and fuc Boston. Never again will I root for anything out of Beantown, even if were against the Raiders. And for me, that is a monstrous statement.

Patriots do respect the Bolts. But respect in this context should not be taken to mean polite but admiration for the teams abilities and accomplishments and do not underestimate the Bolts as others do.

Yes, they poke fun of your players silly dances and trash talk you back in the game. And if this is was in SD spike the ball on the logo and dance. That is not what is meant here by respect.

What is meant here by respect is that although many of the NE fans, fans of other teams, the media in general and even some Charger fans think that the two teams are of a different caliber and result is a forgone conclusion, the players and coaches do not.

The Patriot players know that they didn't "get lucky on Sunday when the Bolts beat the Colts because now they won't have to play the team with the best chance to beat them." What they know is that the team that played better on Sunday won the game. They know that you have to play very well to beat a fully healthy the superbowl champs. The Patriot players know that when the won against the Colts, it was by a slim margin and the Colts had less of their talented personnel when the Patriots played them.

The fans and media may discount the Chargers because of results of week 2. The Patriots are not. They know that the offense is better as a whole and Chambers has had an impact. They know the defense is better. And they will be seeing a lot more of Cromatie then they did before.

While others may dismiss the win last week as the Bolts getting lucky and the Colts playing poorly. The Patriots recognize that in fact many of the breaks went the Colts favor. And then when a team appears to be playing poorly a lot of that has to do with the other team playing well. Int, fumbles, and broken tackles don't just happen, they are a result of the other team playing well.

You want to know who Belichick doesn't respect? Media idiots who as dumb questions and whose total lack of understanding of the game having them dismissing the Bolts. Folks who think the Patriots are playing the weather and not the Chargers.

The team is proud of going 17-0. But change the result of four plays and the Patriots are 13-4. Change the results of three more plays and the Bolts are 16-2.

This is not to say the Patriots lack confidence to win. They know they are capable of winning. But they know the Bolts are capable of winning too. They are studying your strengths and searching for weaknesses. But they know that what happened during the regular season will have little bearing on this game. this game will be decide by which team plays better on this Sunday.

Some Patriot fans such as myself respect the Bolts. This does not mean I won't yell at my TV "you big mouth loser" the when Igor misses a tackle. But it means that I know the outcome of the game has not yet been decided.

Belichick considers those who dismiss the Bolts as idiots, but he will do his best to prove those idiots right.

Unlike the game against Indy, I don't think the Bolts are going to be under this victim's radar.

"They know whats up". New England should show respect for the Bolts. If anything Bilicheat in all his hooded cheating glory knows what a dangerous team the Bolts are. They should respect the Chargers injuries and all. And all of those media loser WILL show the Chargers respect when that lightning bolt hits them in the ***.:icon_evil:
