    I don't follow this logic.

First of all, I find it rather asinine to disregard wins like as though it only matters in the games they lose.

Secondly, with the number of losses by the Chargers as compared to the number of losses by the Broncos we have a sample size issue on our hands.

Also, if you look at it from a pure stats point, Cutler has better stats. Cutler looks more consistent on paper and that the losses were due more to his teammates failures then his own.

Why use data that contradicts the writeup? :icon_shrug:

And of course Cutler doesnt have an LT behind him, or an Antonio Gates.

    Wins are all that matters.

Ask Ben Roethlisberger and that terrible stat day he had winning the Super Bowl.

All I see is that Jay Cutler is better at loosing than Philip Rivers. :icon_rofl:

It is the win column that is the ultimate deciding factor and right now Rivers is the much better QB.

Head to Head matchups, Rivers crushes Cutler, it's not even close.

Jeff Garcia has better stats than Elway....but that doesn't make him a better QB....It's all about the wins!

thats bullshit! Rivers is blessed he is the QB for the Chargers. Cutler would of had a recored of 7890 wins and 0 loses if that was the case.

actually i'm mildly concerned that ****ler could be better this year now that he's aware of his diabetes and can attempt to manage it.

the dude always looked stoned to me, I hope that was why.

Jay Cutler's college and pro winning percentage

    NFL

    2006 - Donkeys - 2-3
    2007 - Donkeys - 7-9

Total: 9-12 which equals a .428 winning percentage

    College

    2005 - 5-6
    2004 - 2-9
    2003 - 2-10
    2002 - 2-10

Note: Numerous references said Cutler played in 45 games at Vandy and his winning percentage was 11-34 (.244). The four year record adds up to 11-35, so he must have been injured for one loss somewhere along the way.

Cutler hasn't had a winning record since high school.

Anybody wanna dig up Rivers records in college and the NFL?

In the Games where Cutler and Rivers played against each other Rivers is 3-0, Cutler is 0-3. Okay maybe the Chargers are a better team, so how did the QBs do?

    Cutler: 54/98 (55.1%), 575 yards, 2 TDs, 3 INTS, 66.5 QB Rating
    Rivers: 45/66 (68.2%), 738 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INTS, 130. 7 QB Rating

**** Rivers had 32 fewer pass attempts and still had 163 more yards and 3 more TDs.
