Phillip Rivers.....I didn't know about him his previous years here, but I believe he is a team leader that is going to be the moving force that will take us to the Superbowl. I just saw him on ESPN and the confidence he displayed makes me a believer.

IMO, the torch has officially been passed from LT to PR.

This is his team and will be for the foreseeable future. End of story.

Philip is the real deal. He is on the level of both Mannings (Eli is still a *****), Brady, etc. He takes control of the offense and takes it to levels it didn't know before. Go Rivers!!!:abq1::abq2::abq2::abq1:

An article in the UT stated that Rivers has topped 100 QB rating in SIX STRAIGHT GAMES.

That isn't just a QB on a hot streak playing over his head. This is what we can expect as long as the OL does its job.

I wouldn't trade Philip for any other QB in the league right now.

I feel the same way, and I believe we are in good hands to say the least.

Me too. What I liked most is how he bounced back after that horrendous pick-6. He kept his composure and didn't let that rattle him. I see PR is maturing. He's not talking all that smack to the crowd either too and staying focused. THAT'S what I wanted to see from him.

It's his team now. He's playing great, inspired football, showing a lot of poise in the pocket. His ability to scoot around in the pocket, buying more time, is what's impressing me.
