It was pretty gatdamn blatant, but I consider it a make up call for the PI Cro got away with.

This sort of reminds me of that one commercial (I think it was a Snickers one) where the football ref makes a public announcement:

"I totally blew that call. It shouldn't have been called. It's my fault. However, I will call a penalty on the other team later in the game, for no real reason, to make up for it."

    Haha, I love that commercial.

I'm not trying to "b*tch" or "moan" because yes, we won the game. I find it funny that they would have this picture up. :icon_rofl:

But then again, most penalties are subjective of the referees. We just have to hope that they try to catch most fouls/infractions in order to keep the competition even between both teams. (In this case, the cowboys need all the help they could get from the Zebras.) The referees are doing the best they can, and I applaud them for it.

Anywho, now I can see why some folks posts are interpreted as being pessimistic, debbie-downers. Doesn't take much nowadays.

Gr8 pic but I'm not sure that incident was as blatant as the one down the sideline when the D back ran into M80 as the ball was coming down. They then decided the ball wasn't catchable. M80 catches balls mere mortals cannot so who's to say that ball wasn't catchable by him.

The one in the pic above was close but not as obvious for me.

You know other teams respect you. when they resort to holding on stop a reception. It will only help to make him more shifty and even a better receiver in the long run.

The ball placement is what I love about that pick, two defender's and only M-80 can catch it, if he weren't handcuffed at the time.

    It was a Subway commercial

I remember someone took the INT return for a TD by Cromartie at the end of the half against the Colts in the playoffs that was called back for a phantom holding call and put it on youtube and dubbed the ref call in place of where the real ref made the announcement.

I can't find it anymore, though, so it might have been taken down.

The difference was that Cro's penalty occured about 12 yards downfield and the foul on Osgood was 40 yards downfield. I would prefer if both of those had been called.

That was the play before the INT right.

It reminded me of the play in the Ravens game where Rivers threw an INT right after a blatant PI non-call on Chambers.

It was a similar situation, we were down on our own end, it was third down...I wonder if Rivers just pressed a little too much, frustrated by the non Call. Both were bad throws in my opinion. Maybe he pressed on that horrible INT against the Giants too. That might be the only criticism I could level at Rivers...the occasional bad throw when trying to force the ball in a critical situation. Last year it cost a couple of games..Buffalo and NO immediately come to mind. This year he has had the chance to overcome most of those (when is Coach didn't take the ball out of his hand at least) and you do not want to give Rivers a second chance.
