    Here's the latest discussion from the show. We did QBs last week, now its running back time. #1 should be pretty obvious but who's 2-5? And let's throw an honorable mention for someone who might not be one of the best but was special to you.

    LaDanian Tomlinson;
    Without a doubt the premier Chargers RB, and future Hall of Famer. Lets just dub him the “Record Breaker’.
    12490 rushing yards 2001-2009
    2880 rushing attempts 2001-2009
    153 TDs from 2001-2009
    Lead the league in rushing TDs 2004, 2006, 2007
    Lead the league in Rushing 2006, 2007
    18 consecutive games with a TD scored from 2004-2005
    Had 138 rushing TDs between 2001 and 2009
    4.4 yards per rush 2001-2009
    918 career points 2001-2009
    Had 28 rushing TDs in 2006
    1683 rushing yards in 2002
    217 rushing yards vs NE, Sept 29, 2002
    220 rushing yards vs Denver, Dec 1 2002
    1645 rushing yards in 2003
    243 rushing yards vs Oakland, Dec 28, 2003
    Had 20 TDs in 2005
    85 yard TD run vs KC, Dec 17, 2006
    10 consecutive games with a TD scored from 2006
    Had 31 TDs in 2006
    28 TDs lead the league in TDs in 2006
    1815 rushing yards in 2006
    186 points in 2006
    4 TDs vs Oakland, Oct 14 2007
    24 points cored vs Oakland, Oct 14, 2007

    Paul Lowe;
    Paul did not play 16 games a season but had several team records that stood until the advent of LT.
    4.9 rushing average 1960-68,
    4972 rushing yards 1960-1968
    6.33 yards per game average in 1960
    87 yard TD run vs Dallas, Sept, 10 1961
    5.71 yards per game average in 1963
    Lead the league in rushing attempts 1965
    Lead the league in rushing 1965
    1015 career rushing attempts

    Chuck Muncie;
    Muncie was considered by many as one of the best running backs in the game until drug problems forced him into retirement.
    19 TDs in 1981
    39 TDs with the Chargers in 4 years.

    Ronnie Harmon;
    Ronnie is often forgotten when discussing RBs. He was arguably one of the best ‘3rd down’ backs to play the game. He was almost a shoe in to get a first down if they threw the ball to him, or let him run it on 3rd down plays. He is one of the unsung heroes that got the Chargers to the 1994 Super Bowl.
    Most 2 point conversions 1990-1995
    3 2 point conversions in 1994
    4.7 yards per game average in 1993
    48 yard TD run in 1985

    Natrone Means;
    Maybe Night Train Lane should be here, but Natron was the bomb for a short time. His candle burnt bright, and fast.

    1. Ladanian Tomlinson - duh
    2. Paul Lowe - one of the most dominating all around runners in the AFL
    3. Chuck Muncie - when he went charging at you, looking like you had his cocaine, you had better run the bleep the other direction
    4. Keith Lincoln - a personal favorite of mine and still holds the records for most yards in a playoff game
    5. Natrone Means - what a fun player to watch

    Honorable Mention
    Ronnie Harmon - the man that to me is the personification of the 3rd down back
    Hank Bauer - was a pleasure to watch play like a mad man

    I was 11-12 in the Means era, which means I was 9 in 92 when Butts was running hard. Great player but I think I was still chuckling over the fact that someone's last name was butts :-p

    Good to see some love for Gary Anderson! Didn't last as long as I would have liked, but won't ever forget his "leap for the end zone". Great play!
