<img width="154" height="255" align="left" title="Carlos Polk" alt="Carlos Polk" src="http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/chargers/images/060615polk.jpg" />Carlos Polk has joked with Chargers teammates as today's final offseason coaching session has drawn closer.

"That last practice you might see me take it real easy," Polk said.

A year ago, on the last play of the last practice, Polk tore the Achilles' tendon in his left leg, finishing his comeback season before it started. Polk also spent the final 15 weeks of the 2004 season on injured reserve after shoulder surgery.

<font class="newstext">"I had a little run of bad luck," Polk said with his typical deep-chested laugh. "We're back on track."</font></blockquote>
