    Edwards, the team's leading tackler in each of the past four seasons, is on the trading block. Chargers general manager A. J. Smith is trying to move the 33-year-old Edwards, who's in the last year of his $18.75 million contract.

    "If I'm playing here or if I'm playing somewhere else, you know what you are going to get from me," said Edwards, a Rancho Santa Fe resident, at Maderas Golf Club. "I'm definitely working hard right now, I guarantee you that. It's on."</blockquote>
