    Fox:
6 Chargers 6 - 6/8 Since when did Northern Illinois become the nation's hottest breeding ground for running backs? Move over Miami, NIU is apparently all the rage. Over in the college ranks, NIU's Garrett Wolfe leads the nation in rushing by about seven trillion yards. In the pros, NIU alum Michael Turner has been getting the bulk of the fourth quarter carries for the Chargers. FYI: Some other famous NIU alums? Dan Castellaneta—the voice of Homer Simpson, and Paul Sereno—one of the world's most renowned paleontologists. Of course, I'm sure you knew all that already. Who doesn't?

They unleashed Philip Rivers and he showed he can handle it. That could make this team much better in the next 12 games.

    ESPN:
5 (9) Chargers 3-1-0 Not only can Philip Rivers play, but he seems to have easily picked up the leadership mantle that Drew Brees used to hold.

Exodus and Kwak are all right. Rivers has the leadership, but not with
domination He is equal to the other stars like Tomlinson, Gates or Merriman That puts the team in front and we will get up the stairs of powerrankings throughout the season.

Yep. The guy has everything upstairs that you want in a QB. I have yet to see him get rattled or display that "pouty" look on the sidelines. That used to drive me crazy when Brees looked like someone shot his dog after he made a mistake.
