How many TDs will the Patriots embarrass us by in our own house next week?

    45-0 in first half

Then we come back to 43-45 and the NATE misses the game winning felid goal. Yay Nate.

I like it, how many times does Rivers keel over and allow the defense to unnecesarily sack him?

    21-0 first quarter

    24-7 end of the half

    31-21 end of the third

34-28 with us driving at the end of the game, PR throws an INT to seal it for the Pats

Ehh...a little unrealistic. Its more likely Rivers would get a sack/fumble from holding the ball too long.

I like the 21-0 Patriots at the half. I like 14-28 in the fourth, five minutes to go after an kickoff return for a TD on San Diego's (lack of ) special teams. Then it's a red zone INT with Rivers dealing with too much pressure and Tom Brady lets loose to win it 35-14, 21 point spread. Either that, or the Patriots will win 45-10 or some other really lopsided score. I can say this, special teams and the o-line are going to suck - but I guess I have to say that is a guarantee every week this season. Go Bolts! But really, can they just not play this one?

This is a game we win.

Charger fans lose their minds and forget the start and fall back on the bad habit of relying on the past to save the day.

Oh we will win. Everyone needs to keep their minds right is the issue. This team will still have serious problems despite a win.

The Chargers will probably win this one just because everyone's expecting blowout.

I think the more accurate question is how many times will Rivers have to start running for his life immediately after the ball is snapped?

He had time to throw on a few of those, then he moves from the pocket and gets tripped. We have to call quicker passing plays when they're clearly rushing more than 5.

I admit my angle was a bit skewed from the terrace level (front row, though) but it seemed to me he was always running away from defenders immediately after the snap.

I'll concede that he may have been able to throw anyways on a couple of them, but I'm more apt to place the majority of the blame on the offensive line for the 7 sack debacle when Rivers doesn't even have time to breathe.

Can't blame Kaeding for losing this one, at least... But some of you will probably blame the kicker anyway.

I blame whoever decided to put the game in the hands of our 5th long snapper, and a backup kicker.

If that happens to be Norv....so be it. ;)

There's plenty of things that we can blame Norv for but every head coach in the NFL goes for the field goal in that situation.

If you want to blame somebody blame the offense for letting it get to 4th down.

You mean...the offense than Norv calls plays for?

How about less downfield routes, and more slants, drags, and digs? Seriously the pass too Crayton was a joke, no chance they give up a long pass right along the sideline.

Very true. Like I said, there's plenty of things we can blame Norv for.

I just don't think not going for it on 4th down is one of them.

Its just my philosphy that when your offense is finally rolling and you have a great QB, and your playing a great QB like Tom Brady, that you don't want to leave the game up to a coin toss in OT if you can avoid it.

Not to mention the fact that both your kicker and long snapper were flipping burgers a week ago, I woudn't want to put a 50yd FG in their hands.

If the offense was rolling it wouldn't have been 4th down.
