We joked about it last week, and it looks like it just may happen.

BS....it's called wanting to light a fire under Russell's arse so he'll hurry up and sign. If I was his agent, I'd just laugh. Culpepper wouldn't make it past TC with their O-Line......and yes, I realize they'd be going against scrubs.

Why he would sign for Oakland is beyond me. He needs to find a place where he can rehab his knee AND look for a chance to rehab his career. Being a crash test dummy behind that OL is not the place he needs to be.

Nice, a still gimpy Culpepper tries to function behind the worst OL in the NFL.

Man i cant see why Culpepper would sign a one year deal with Oakland. I gotta believe Atlanta had to have some interest.

Nope. When the Atlanta 3 (Owner, GM, Coach) had their press conference last week, they specifically stated that they weren't interested in Culpepper.

Well OK then. Vick is done for the year, maybe done with the NFL and they have Harrington. Nothing like throwing in the towel before TC.

They DID pick him up. And how does a QB with a bum knee stand a snowballs chance in hell behind that line? At least Russell can move.
