I got a message through myspace the other day from my friend Anita. I know Anita through my time working with her in Otay Mesa. I know that her and her family were huge San Diego sports fans and often heard stories about her and her fiance (now husband) going to Padres spring training every season.

The message I got from Anita was a sad one. Her cousin Edward had passed away on December 24th. Although I never knew Edward, I do know that he was a huge Charger fan and I know that he passed away much to early. I wish I had known him. I think he would have been that type that would have enjoyed the hospitality of a BoltTalk tailgater before going in to a game and watching the Chargers win another one in front of all of the fans at the Murph.

I wanted to post a tribute to Edward Charles Morales, Jr. to remember this true blue (and gold) Charger fan. Please take a moment to remember this Charger fan who was loved by his family and those that knew him.

Here is the exact message Anita asked me to post:

IN MEMORY OF EDWARD CHARLES MORALES JR. FEB.13, 1981 - DEC.25, 2007 CHARGERS FAN FOR LIFE AND BEYOND? A BIG MAN WITH A BIGGER HEART, SUDDENLY GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN...
