Why pay Hall but not Asomugha? I don't get it.

But hey, Aso can just sit out until week six, Duhvis comes to his mind and gives him his money, and Aso comes in and plays like he didn't miss any TC or playing time right? :icon_tease:

I really think Asomugha is a better defender than Hall...who is over rated.

Maybe they will LOSE Asomugha after the season

How cap damaged is Davis after his Filene's basement spree?

I'm willing to bet that BOTH of them won't be around next season. Hall went to the Faiders because NO ONE ELSE wanted that head case. If Asomugha has a decent year, he'll leave too.

Hall's signed to like a 6yr deal so he aint going anywhere
ironically most people see Asomugha as being the better corner

How in the hell can they pay all these ridiculous salaries at once? How are they skirting the cap?

I'm just more curious than anything.

Nothing they do anymore surprises me when it comes to personel decisions.

If he's smart, he'll get the hell outta that pit ASAP. He's got talent, just needs to escape Al's clutches. Good CBs don't last long on the market.

Is this the last year of his deal? :icon_huh:

They franchised him, so that designation is his contract. They can keep using it every year, but given how high the contract #'s are for CB and the mandatory 10% (I think) raise, it would be tough to keep him for long.

I agree, that this doesn't make much sense for the Raiders. This guy is easily the best defender they have, if not the best player on the whole team. Not signing him just sends the wrong message to the rest of their team. Of course, I am LMFAO. Only the Raiders would get themselves into this fix.
