Well, this certainly would seem to suggest that the Turds are going to a zone blocking scheme.

The only zone that matters is the end zone. And I don't think there's any scheme that will help them locate it!!

No offense Rock your cool, you don't talk smack, you actually contribute, but at the end of the day this is a Charger forum. Of course we're going to make fun of the Raiders, Chiefs and Broncos.

But anyway, congrats on a good signing:yes:

Thanks, what do you think of the moves the raiders have made?
I just hope they make another and get rid of moss IMO.

I still think you guys have problems on offense. A subpar line (talent or coaching?) no QB, is Jordan really the answer? receivers getting old and bad attitudes. I think you defense needs less work, it's not that bad and how is Kiffin going to handle the NFL?

Lots of questions, and I think your main problem is Al's attitude of "we don't rebuild, we reload" I think sometimes you just need to blow it up. The problem is IF you do that and pick the wrong guys in the draft you end up like Detroit.

Does that mean they are going to mimic their cheap shot tactics? :icon_shrug:

Oh wait, nevermind .. we are talking about the Raiders here. :turdspuke:

I do like Griffith, talented FB, Carlisle for all the jokes is a very solid guard and Rhodes mixed with Jordan should be a decent RB duo. You just still have a hell of a lot of problems in a hell of a lot of places

I think Moss will go right around the draft.

What do you think about Burges holding out?

I hate how players feel they should be rewarded when they perform well. What? So when you have a subpar year is management going to demand back a portion of your salary. You signed a contract, so honor your side of the deal. Play out your 5 years and if you're that good, you'll be rewarded with a new contract with more money.

But really, Burgess is a beast and it sucks that he's getting paid peanuts for all his accomplishments.

I hope moss goes right before the draft and burgess isnt even holding out. who holds out in april? shcfter reported on live TV it MIGHT mean he holding out since hes not there yet the tope vets warren sapp, derric burgess arent there. Its more for the offense rather then the defense and vets like derric, sapp dont need to be at a voluntary camp.
read this it will sort it out for you

I highly disagree with the O-line thing. The ZBS fits the raiders line perfect becuse they are all fast, athletic. Newberry is back and 100% now and carlisle is a very good LG. I dont think its going to be all lamont. I think it will be a 1-2 punch of dom rhodes, lamont. Old WRs? Bad attitudes? Porter is 27 and loves kiffin. Curry is 25 likes kiffin, gabriel likes kiffin and Moss is the only one your talking about. QB i agree with needs to be adressed and im hoping get either stanton, kolb, edwards myself and have them throwing to calvin.

I will be curious to see if the Denver habit of hacking at defensive players knees will be even more evident with the Raiders. Denver's blocking "zone" is usually around the ACL.

I doubt it, other teams use the ZBS but denver uses it diffrently.
    GB,TB,Oak,panthers,49rs,houston all use it.

Im suprised carlisle picked us over denver, seattle, carolina, tampa, houston.

The Left Coast rules!!!!!!! Houston has the worst weather index in the country (along with the country's nastiest tempered drivers), Florida seethes with predatory insect life, not much sun in Seattle and the Bay area is way more fun than Carolina.
