Ben Roethlisberger: Immediate impact!!! Got the Steelers to the AFCC in his rookie season. Won the Super Bowl his second. And did it again last season!

Eli Manning: Looked like a joke and is solid at best but has a Super Bowl title and did it while most of his team were on their last legs.

Phillip Rivers is better than both of them but can only get us so far.
We have more talent than both teams, yet it's "back to the drawing board" AGAIN!!!

Nah... Tampa is back to the drawing board. We are simply cleaning bits and pieces of the house and straightening up a few knick knacks...

    They finished the job!!!

The team they had with Sapp, Alstott, Lynch, McCardell, Johnson, etc. was a Super Bowl team!!! They got a title... ERA COMPLETE!!!

The team they recently had was not a Super Bowl team. Wild Card at best.

this team is good, has been for a few years now, that's more than other teams can say, I want a Lombardi, I'm disappointed it hasn't happend yet, but feed up? nope, this is a good young (except for 3 starters) team

I'm sure a lot of teams that are "rebuilding" would be ecstatic with four division championships in five years...

their fans probably would to.

We used to: 8-8 is not a Superbowl Team. Maye with a few tweaks we can get back to that caliber.

I hope so. We've had poor drafts in the last two years and handed out some pretty bad contracts. The last two years don't inspire confidence.

We have been saying it and preaching it since before the dude put on his Bolt jock strap. The brother is flat out nails.

How many times have we seen Rivers make **** happen ? The dude is no Houdini and is as awkward as hell moving around the pocket but he gets it done. There were some passes that were so sweet I just **** myself.

I had hoped Ramsdell would have worked on Philip's footwork to where Rivers is not stepping on his johnson when he gets into trouble. The dude regresses for whatever reason. I want to see more of the DEEP ball out of Rivers.

The thread starter got my attention with the "rebuilding" blast. We need to re-build is correct but not a complete engine overhaul. We need something akin to a major tune up. We need goddamn linemen (RT, RG, C, DE and worthy backups) and then more ...... how about a back up for Jamal for christs sakes .... we suck in a 4-3 look otherwise. Our DB's are set ...

    PS... FU :icon_twisted:

    Trade Merriman. :bolt:

We just need to get Merriman back on the juice. I'm sure there's some new exotic **** that they can't detect.

Keep all the crazy black dudes on defense and shitcan all the white panochas except for Weddle (for now). I want Steve Foley motherfukers out there (minus the bullet holes).

    Beef!!!

No. If this team can't win a Super Bowl title, then what Chargers team can?

Weddle f'd up a few calls but that was his first year at FS. Hart should be at FS and not Weddle. I do not understand that move by the coaches last year and why they were probably **** canned. I am tempted to ask Clinton about what he thought of the secondary coaches just to see if I am on the right track (the secondary coaches sucked ***). Our defense is not nasty yet. We need nasty. If they are loaded up on synthetic Star Trek-like HGH, rock and roll. Get me the gear before I die.

    BEEF !!!

Fouts' era was pretty good. I am not over the fact we lost in the playoffs to the Oilers, Raiders, Bengals. That hurt - bad.

Those Bolt teams scored 40+ consistently (or so it seemed) and no one could stop us. That is huevos grandes. Billy Big Balls rides again. I don't get that feeling this team with our present offense that we will score 40+ every game.

Back in the day - you bet.

If we had a Larry Fitzgerald at WR, I would say "now we are talking" and of course with more BEEF....

We never recovered from the Fred Dean trade (which I blame on Gene Klein for being cheap) and we should have drafted Singletary (like alot of people thought we were going to pick) instead of James Brooks. We also didn't reload in the 83 draft as we were supposed to. We stockpiled all those picks and squandered them on some pretty forgetable talent. You might say what about BR Smith Jr and Gil Byrd? But considering what we could have had in that deep-deep draft, we could have gotten alot more.

If we would have gotten Elway. Tank Younger did not want to part with two first round picks if I remember correctly.

When Klein sent John Jefferson to the waste lands on the ice planet where they mine di-lithium crystals, I was beyond pissed. John Jefferson brought out the best in Bolt fans then so did Lance Alworth but Lance never got the towel waving thing down. JJ did. The crowd went nuts when he started waving that towel.

Gene Klein was mistaken for the janitor more than a few times because of his slovenly appearance. The dude looked like an un-made homeless persons bed walking around.
