Kaeding also missed a 40-yard field goal yesterday that would have given the Chargers a nine-point lead in the third quarter. And Scifres bungled a snap that prevented Kaeding from attempting a 52-yard kick that would have given the Chargers a similar lead midway through the final quarter.
