    By the time the Chargers wrapped up their annual mini camp Sunday, reporters probably started to sound like broken records to Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer. The question of the spring, from fans and media alike, concerned the development of his new starting quarterback.

    "He's got to be a leader of this team, and with that comes a lot of responsibility," Schottenheimer said of Philip Rivers. "He's coming along nicely and there's no doubt in my mind that he'll be ready to play when the time comes."</blockquote>
