    BALTIMORE – Maybe there was justification for Marty Schottenheimer again trying to send football back to the 1920s.

    It's difficult to imagine Schottenheimer doing what he did yesterday, going into a shell at times, if he had a veteran quarterback.

    He denied the play-calling was conservative. He often seems to decipher that as a dirty word.</blockquote>
