Philip Rivers may not have been asked to do much so far, but what he has done has been exceptional – as evidenced by his 107.4 passer rating, second in the league.

Among the best things he has done is stay away from turnovers. Not one of his throws has even been close to being picked off.

"Interceptions are something that have always really bothered me, whether it's in a game or even in practice," Rivers said. "I've always had a good record there. But I'm beginning to see in this league, more and more, it reflects winning."
