Bye man, we'll miss you. Even though it was kind of betrayal we'll still have a place for you in SD.:icon_sad:

It was Marty's bad for letting Rodney go too soon. Best wishes to the Hitman.

I've always liked Rodney, I was happy to see him do well. In a couple of interviews I saw, he kind of bad mouthed the Chargers, which I didn't appreciate. But I'm sure he still felt the sting of being let go.

I didn't say I'm glad that he's hurt but he is a dirty player. Just ask Trent Green.

I also don't like the way he was whining about the Spanos family not calling him after he won a title with the Patsies to congratulate him. Maybe because the Spanos family has a job as opposed to sitting around, thinking about you?!!!

I don't have massive hate for him and do wish he could've been our SS instead of Terrance Kiel. Still hope he recovers quickly but I'm not a big fan of his since he became a patriot

I would have never ditched Rodney or Junior.

He's most likely done with football.

I had no issue with Seau being gone. Dude was to the point that he cost more under the cap than his actual contribution to the team. I would have liked to have seen Harrison kept around though.

I'll tell ya something though...everytime those two would get on the field they would play the game as if it were their last. I really appreciated that too.

As good as both those guys were, it was in best interest for the players and the team.

It's Billacheat's fault for not preparing and conditioning his player's correctly. Poor Rodney, killed by his coach and thrown away.

That's either sarcasm that didn't shine through or one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

I was at the game and they had the internal television feed in the box I was in. I don't know if they showed it on MNF, but, as he was being carted off it was easy to read his lips...."that's it.....I'm done..." He looked completely demoralized. I really felt for him.

Stick around you'll learn. This is a Charger board, we not only take hit's from opposing fans but also from our very own.

The bolts betrayed him, he didn't betray the bolts. They showed him the door when he was far from done.

He could've meant just for the game or even season, not so dramatic as his career. Of course it could be after 15 years.

But about Rodney and Seau, they kept me a Charger fan through sooo many down years. From when Humphries or maybe Harbaugh left to when Flutie came, I had nothing to look forward to except seeing Hitman and Say-Ow blasting fools. That defense deserved at least a decent offense to get us in a playoffs, or to not waste those guys' careers while they were here.

Too bad for Rodney. I never had any ill will for him. He was released and he signed with New England. Good for him for not taking the Raiders offer.

Get well Rodney, ...but IMO he isnt a HOF player.

I was very happy about that. He was scheduled to meet with them and flew to NE instead and never left.

I think he might get in. He has had a very good long career with rings.

    I always liked Rodeny.

The only reason I disliked him was because of the uniform he was wearing. It's a shame we threw him out with the garbage way before his expiration date. **** YOU MARTY!!!!

Harrison was dumped by the Chargers. It was us that got betrayed by the team this time. Not a guy we should have traded.

If you remember, one of the reasons he was traded was to make room for David Boston.
EVERY Chargers fan was stoked for that signing at the time!!!

    Myself included.

Remember, ONLY Dean can hire and fire.
And what makes you so sure that AJ wasn't part of this?

I don't dislike him because him because he's no longer here or where he went. I dislike him because he's a dirty player.

Say what you want about Rodney, he was always ready to play and play hard. Somebody mentioned the hit on Trent Green being dirty. I didn't see it that way, but we're all entitled to our opinions. Having blown quad tendons on both knees, he's in for a long recovery. I wish him God's speed in healing!
