I just heard an interview on 1090 with some reporter from Baltimore, and the feeling there is that Rex is going to get the job, and that it might be a package deal with Addalius Thomas.

I heard this as I was waiting on hold to give my personal info because I had just won an XBOX360 as caller 10!!!!! :abq2: :abq2:

rivera's play calling with slim leads is far too similar to wades, very few blitzes on third down and too many zones that looked idioticly picked apart in the superbowl. no thanks. i like trex

The Bears weren't a blitzing defense anyway.

I could see hiring Rivera if AJ think he's just that good as a leader and motivator. But in terms of integrating with our defense I don't care how much he says it's not that big of a difference--I'd rather have the guy who coached a dominant 3-4 than the guy who coached a dominant cover-2.

IMO, Rivera has a keen grasp on third place.

    1a. Rex Ryan
    1b. Mike Singletary
    3. Ron Rivera

    4 thru 1,000,000 - anyone who hasn't yet interviewed

Not on the radar: Norv Turner

Seriously .... I'll puke if they pick him.

It'll be like Marty never left, because I still won't believe in the head coach.

Watched all the post interview interviews... in terms of impressing me gimme......

    1. Rex by a country mile

    2. Rivera just ok
    3. Singletary - watched the ray lewis sideline crap and he did not impress, seems a tad slow, this would scare me gametime
    4. Turner - what a dodo

Zimmer is the wild card.... wait and see.

We need a man eater for head coach with loads of talent and it seems Rex fits the bill literally.

That's my opinion, too. It should be really interesting to see who we call back for a second interview.

good point but going throught the tape they did have decent blitz packages that utilized thier secondary, i'm just saying it looked too similar, we need a d hc with a thirst for the qb's blood. rock on beatches:abq2: :abq2:

Thats what I'm wondering. They'll probably bring a couple back for a second interview. Unless they had a plan all along.

Notice. The dumping of marty happened right after Dean and A.j. got back from the pro bowl. What went on at the pro bowl is my question. Was a plan hatched there between mytai's and hula girls.

I don't know who it's going to be but Turner is scaring the hell out of me. He's buds with AJ and knows Dean from past employment, does he have the inside lane to the checkard flag????:icon_eek:

Because Michael Turner is the lynch pin. Jamal Lewis is getting shitcanned so bundle Turner to sweeten the pot. Oh and Donna Edwards is getting the chorizo but you already knew that....

Not an actual package deal, but Rex and Adalius are tight, so if we sign Rex there is a great chance that AT will follow. We just happen to have a spot opening up in our LB corps, and enough money to go out and make a splash.

It was pure, unadulterated speculation that can really get the mind racing when you think about that... Of course, you have to ignore the fact that AJ doesn't like to spend money on outsiders in FA for full effect.
