"That’s less than $5 million more than Routt ultimately earned for one year in Oakland."

That line alone had me stuck for a few minutes. I know it's poorly written, but I also know that
    my math isn't the greatest...

Is Routt better than Carr?....... that's the question.

Better at picking up flags, no doubt. ;)

The Broncos then sign Carr, and the AFC West edition of musical chairs is complete. ;)

I don't think so, but he'll be cheaper and he will be about the same and can play the same way. The Chiefs, however, are trying hard to work a deal out with Carr. Everyone expected this meant he was gone, but they seem to think otherwise, and Carr said he'd sign with KC for less (I am sure his agent loved hearing that). HOW much less is of course the real question.

The Chiefs have more cap room than any team in the league, but if I were betting, I'd say Carr ends up in Dallas.

If we were to keep him though...Flowers, Carr, Routte and Javier Arenas as our top four corners with Eric Berry and Kendrick Lewis back together as our safeties...I don't think there'd be a better defensive backfield in the game.

Still, the Eagles said that last year.
