    <blockquote>By Ronald W. Powell

San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders met with county Supervisors Dianne Jacob and Ron Roberts yesterday to discuss the Chargers stadium issue, but insisted afterward that he has not reversed field on where it ranks on the city's priority list.

In April, Sanders said the city needed to focus on fixing its financial problems instead of the Chargers' quest for a new stadium, and yesterday he said nothing has changed.

"Right now, what I want to do is manage expectations," Sanders said following the hourlong meeting at the County Administration Center. "We've been very clear that we don't have the money. I don't want to spend taxpayer money. Anything that's done (regarding a stadium) will have to be through a revenue stream that creates value to both sides."</blockquote>
