Brady wasn't sharp..Wes Welker was in civies...Jerod Mayo is down for 8 weeks, and Richard Seymour is in Oakland.

The Jets defense had the Pats back on their heels the entire game, and Mark Sanchez lit his own fire in the second half to lead the Jets to a well-earned victory over a lacklustre New England Patriots.

Sanchez looked like an eight year vet in the second half.

Excellent Jets job today...congrats to a revitalized team with a fine young and very skilled rookie QB...offensive rookie of the year? Quite possibly.

    Not pleasant to watch.

The receivers got pushed around all day long. The Jets beat the tar out of our players.

Tom looked sharp as a marble.

Doubt is beginning to creep in.......

    The Raiders beat Kansas City.

The Jets came after Brady and to got to the running game in the process. Then Sanchez just played confidently and intelligently. The Jets simply outplayed them. 1-1 Patriots, 1-1 Steelers, 1-1 Chargers, 1-1 Cardinals...
Favorites win some, lose some. It's football.

Really didn't see much of this game. Only saw one of the FG's the Jets kicked.

Too true, and it wasn't like he didn't have a lot of pocket time.

All that said, if you have to lose a game, it might as well be early. I don't think I ever want to have to relive the nightmare that was the end of the 2007-08 season.

Undefeated seasons take their toll on the nerves...especially when they lose the most important game....the last one....in the final minute. Oy.

But Brady isn't close to being the passer he was that year...at least not yet. In two games, I don't recall Moss running a deep route...he's running short yardage slants and taking hits...that's something I don't think he has ever done.

Moss not running deep...could it have to do with Brady not feeling right on his legs when he launches one deep?

This season is up for grabs. Fresh players in Dec & Jan will decide the tournament. Miami has to run down Indy tonight.

So true man. The team that wins it all is the one that has the most healthy starters in Dec/Jan!

Could be...the only deep pass he threw to Moss yesterday was picked.

We always play better in the 2nd half of the season, especially in December.

6-2 in the first half of the season is what we need to do. The 2nd half is more brutal with road trips.

Honestly, knowing the Pats and Steelers are 1-1 make it a bit easier to deal with the Chargers also being 1-1.

    Tennessee is 0-2 as well

Pats 1-1 (Could have easily been 0-2)
    Pitt 1-1
    Tennessee 0-2
Chargers 1-1 (Could have easily been 0-2) YIKES
    Arizona 1-1

Baltimore is a good team. We lost to the team in the AFC championship last year. They are good on both sides of the ball.

I would love to meet them again in the playoffs.

I don't know. As far as I can tell, there is nothing coming from the Patriots, and there is nothing in the Boston papers. That's typical of the Patriots organization...no news.
