Who do we promote in his spot? Is there an assistant Special teams coach or do we look outside the organization to bring in? Hell I'd take a high school special teams coach at this point! Suggestions?

Good player doesn't always translate to good management.

    See: Matt Millen

Anyways, I don't see how anyone looking for a job or promotion could do any worse.

When the teenager down the street working at Taco Bell could do a better job naming specific names seems like a waste of time.

Do any of us know who they are? Chargers.com doesn't give any names. Man, SOMETHING has to be done with ST. It's killing the team, us and the season!

He means Steve. Although I'm sure replacing "steve" with "bing" was intentional.

Stever Crosby's nickname was Bing. Steve's old roommate told me this and he was also a NFL player with the Giants (Jim Steinke - Mgr. Toyota San Marcos, Tx.)

Anyway, have Ron Rivera be accountable for the Special Teams from here out.

Yeah, I agree with the whole 'Who would you choose.' for some of the more prevalent jobs like head coach or just about any position player. But I can't be expected to name some out of work coach who can improve our special teams. I think it is perfectly acceptable for fans in this case to recognize there is a major problem and depend on the team (see Norv and AJ) to come up with a person who can fix the problem.

Pretty much anyone would be better at this point. Even the Dolphins ST coach that just got fired....

Sometimes firing the coach is just to send a message to the players. Get a different philosophy in there. Can Crosby and a player or two (Spillman?) to shake things up.

    "Bing" is Steve's nickname.

If you are ever in San Marcos Texas (between San Antonio & Austin), the dude who owns the Toyota dealership told me this story. He has a NFL shrine in one room of the showroom. Cool old photos of his playing days ...........
