If the trade is Schaub for 2 #2's and a swap of first round picks, then I think ATL got plenty for him. I probably would have traded Vick and handed the team over to Schaub though.

if Moss was pissed off playing for the raiders i wonde rhow he'll take a move to the texans

hopefully this will finally give the Texans some stability at QB, and yeah this could have some interesting affects on the Draft.

****... he should be rejoicing if he goes to Houston. Playing opposite a real professional WR should make his job that much easier. He can take plays off, run sloppy routes and the ball will still be thrown to him because now he won't face double coverage. IMO, Andre Johnson is now probably the 2nd best WR in the game (The "other" Johnson is #1). If the Texans can get a little of the old Ahman Green and pick up a nice LT they'll be a very good offense.

The Raiders are still gonna be poop.

Yeah, that's a hefty price for a backup QB. I actually think Atlanta made a great decision, Schaub is totally overrated IMO.

I agree with TK. Schaub hasn't done enough to warrant the hype that follows him. I am reminded of when the Jags traded Rob Johnson.

That may be true about the hype, but I think ATL traded away the better QB.

Vick is just a WR/RB trying to be a QB.

I agree, but that doesn't mean that either guy is any good.

Kinda makes you wonder if anyone would part with two second rounders for Vick...

I think someone would, but I would not.
Hype will get you a long way. Vick has made a career out of it.

All the talk I've heard regarding the Falcons offseason is that it's make or break time for Vick and they turn around and trade Schaub? If Carr gets moved it will be interesting to see how Schaub does in Houston.

Carr could be the big winner in all this. Maybe landing on at team that knows how to block.

Just saw the press conference with Schaub and the Texans. They really **** the bed on this one, I think. Said they are "trying to find a place for David Carr to pursue his career"... working out a trade today or tomorrow. Why would anyone trade for him now that they've declared Schaub their starter? Just let them release him and sign him for whatever he'll take.

The Texans are a real mess. Passed on Bush. Passed on Young. Passed on building a good O-line and giving D.Carr the chance to succeed. Now they'll just wallow in mediocrity for another 5 years.

    Buh bye.

I agree. They should have negotiated these trades simultaneously. Now, they are going to get nothing more than a mid-rounder for Carr. Carr actually wasn't terrible last year. He posted a QB rating of 82 and completed 68% of his passes, while being sacked 40+ times.

Yeah, Schaub put up some decent (not great) numbers against defenses who prepared for Vick. Let's see how he does when DC's gameplan against him.

I still don't get the man-love. Completetion percentage of 52.2, 6 touchdowns, 6 picks. Maybe Schaub will break out and elevate the Texans, but I am betting against it.
