    Be realistic, point out the games YOU KNOW we should win.

    @Saints
    Chiefs
    @Steelers
    Colts
    Falcons
    Raiders
    @Chiefs
    @Bucs
    Broncos

    I got 4 games we absoutely should not lose. That puts us at 7-9.

    Saints are tough because they pass so well.
    Steelers are arguably the toughest defense in football.
    Colts are always a good game and they want revenge at some point.
    Falcons are darkhorses
    Bucaneers are 5-2 right now, they are severly underrated.
    Broncos are never a guarantee, although I think we should shell them.

    At worst I got us at 7-9, at best 10-6.

    The Chargers need to wear the Powder Blues this week, they always step it up when they wear those.

    The Steelers could be the AFC front runner come January.

    Predict? How?

    We don't know what team will show up each Sunday.

    It may be an overused cliche, but:

    "One game at a time" should be the mantra of this team.

    Call me crazy, but I think we match up very well against the steelers.

    They allow a ton of sacks, so we should be able to get plenty of pressure.

    Here are some stats I just came up with on how well we did vs. the teams we played against how well they protect the quarterback

    I looked at the team's sack percentage given up of the teams we have played (without being able to count for times where the QB scrambled, but was intending to pass, which would have made this too hard, these percentages are a bit high)

    NE has given up sacks 12.6% of the time they pass (we had 4 sacks)
    The Dolphins give up sacks 8.4% of the time they pass (we had 2)
    The Raiders give up sacks 7.9% of the time (we had 6
    The jets give up sacks 7% of the time (we had 3)
    The Panthers give up sacks 4.9% of the time (we had 2)
    We had none against the stinkin' Broncos, but the give up a sack a rediculous 1.9% of the time (which is really amazing considering how often they have the third most attempts in the league)

    The Steelers give up a sack about 10.2% of the time. We should get to Big Ben early and often.

    If you were to perform a linear regression on the stats above (which I did cause I am a nerd) we come out to almost exactly 4 sacks.

    (unfortunately, the saints don't give up many sacks, we will be lucky if we get to Brees once or twice)

    I agree.

    I could see us beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh, then turing around and losing to a team we have no business losing too. I just dont trust this team.

    The Saints dont give up sacks because 90% of their offense is the 3 step drop and fire. Which means Cromartie and Jammer will have to be RIGHT ON THE RECIEVERS TEDDY!!!

    Exactly what I'm thinking.
    If we can't beat good teams like Bucs, Steelers, Saints, and even Falcons... WE DO NOT DESERVE THE PLAYOFFS!!!

    If we don't make the playoffs, the entire coaching system better be wiped out!!!
    Then of course, we'll see who we lose to free agency... ei: this defense might have to get used to playing without Merriman, permanently!!!

    Yeah! I want to see the powder blues as well!

    Anyways:

    @Saints W
    Chiefs W
    @Steelers L
    Colts W
    Falcons W
    Raiders W
    @Chiefs W
    @Bucs L
    Broncos W

    However, you never know with the NFL. There's always some strange outcomes each week.

    Anyways, like everyone else. I hope they win out and finish 12-4. But, that's pretty difficult. Anyways, I think 10-6 should be good enough to win the division. Especially, with Denver having horrible defense. And, with both KC and Oakland being really lousy.
