If I ever see Florence in a Charger uni again I'm going apeshit. The guy is a mental midget.

Hes a hell of an athlete though. He dropped like 10 picks this year, but hes always in position to make a play. More often then Jammer even is.

If you get Florence some practice with the wideouts, he could easily take Jammers spot.

Jammer's spot is in the Pro Bowl next year.

People make mistakes, but that was boneheaded. I wouldn't judge florence off that single play, but it certainly doesn't bode very well for him.

Yes, it was seriously boneheaded. I just think that you have to judge him on his entire "body of work". He had a solid season and put himself into position to make a lot of game changing plays. Unfortunately the only game changer we remember right now is the one that he actually pulled off...the headbutt!

Cut McCree. If it wasn't for his "interception" we win. Simple as that. Anyone got a nice big picture of McCree I can put on my dart board?

McCree and Florence have both played weel for the Chargers, I don't want them to be cut

Damn, good thing you guys aren't gm's, you can't go cutting players for one (very stupid) mistake (the headbutt) and one not so smart play (intercepting that ball and trying to run it back was instinct, not putting the ball away was stupid)

    My list would include

    1) resing Dielman and S. Phillips
    2) draft a safety (replace kiel)
    3) draft a wr
    4) draft d-linemen (specially a future NT)
    5) franchise Turner so we can get a first rounder for him
    6) get someone to compete for the RT spot

    1) Eliminate the word "Prevent" from all defensive playbooks and related materials.

I hope Cam goes to the dolphins

Mike Turner will be back, unless he doesnt want to. Then we will either tag him cuz someone will give up picks for him, or we will trade him for a #1 pick. I still think Houston will be the most interested. I love that 8th slot. Or unless Oakland is willing to give up this years #1, next years #1 and #2! Who knows. Who friggin knows.

SPEAKING OF DROPPED PICKS! How many interceptions did we drop this year? 15-20 somewhere in there?

But nooooooo McCree decides to catch the ball this time? The one time we need a dropped pick and he makes the catch. Damn.

I was thinking the same thing. Ever heard of wrong place, wrong time? This guy was in the right place the right time but made a wrong decision.

IMO, McCree had no choice but to catch the ball when it was stuck in his chest. But running with it was the wrong thing to do. Just fall down!! At the very worst he doesn't control the ball to the ground and they call it incomplete.

Oh well... I will never fault a guy for trying to make a play. That's football.

But compounding one mistake with another (Parker) or not controlling your emotions in the biggest game of your life (Florence, Olivea) is just inexcusable.

The motto from this game is learn from your mistakes. Sheets gonna happen in any game. But a team has to be good enough to over come it. The team has a bit of maturing yet to do. Which I'm sure it will. And it needs a few better players. Which I'm sure they'll get.

    Adalius Thomas.

Safety and WR in the draft, or a top shelf Right Tackle if one can be found (need to move Olivea to guard).

A quality replacement for Cam and Lofton. Any replacement for Crosby. I can't believe he still has a job.

#1 - Resign Phillips and Turner (atleast high tenders so they have to return next year)
#2 - Find a real WR to go opposite Jackson in the starting lineup, preferably a deep threat
    #3 - Replace Kiels sorry ***
#4 - Get line depth (both lines)
#5 - Get some compitition for Sproles for the kick return duties (this could coincide with #2)

He actually juggled it, and then caught it. He knew what he was doing. Man, what a horrible way to lose a game.
Tom Brady is so good he threw a game winning INTERCEPTION!:icon_eek:

Mistakes are how most people learn.. we should be glad we have things to blame... lets see how these players step up next year.

    31. Spruce up the stadium a little bit.. get brighter paint, fix the damn inflatable helmet, fix the speakers.. do best to make it feel like a winning stadium. I know they can't dump too much into it, but little things can make a huge diff... like not leaving hand carts around and having speakers that fans can hear the plays from.

Lets remember Florence's headbutt was not his only dumb play of the game. Remember he seriously thought about lateraling the pick that he did get.

What goes on in that dude's mind? He is a great athlete but he must have like shoving straws up his nose as a kid, cuz he is missing some grey matter.

The kid has AMAZING talent, he doesnt get the credit he deserves platying behind Jammer. If he can get his head in the game more I think he can be a shutdown corner.

But at the same time, he may be the stupidest guy in a Charger uniform, other than Terrance Kiel.
