Thats not news, they cant afford to raise ticket prices unless they REALLY want 10 blackouts next year

The real news owuld be that they are lowering prices for once

There is also the possibility that if a lot of season ticket holders have given up on the team as it has been predicted, by the time that season tickets come due there might be some changes or reduction in costs again to entice sales. Of course, this is purely speculation at this point, and my peeps at the ticket office aren't saying much.

A SERIOUS price reduction would have to take place for me to reconsider my stance on renewing, either that, or Dean showing he is serious about winning and forces AJ to sign Mario Williams and a couple other GOOD free agents. Dont have to be high priced guys, but no more bottom of the barrel Low risk/high reward guys (Bob sanders)

I still see a lot of people dropping their tickets even with the price holding firm. Going to be a lot of blackouts next year.

the price of a ticket never entered my mind. I had been working with the Ticket Office, I was going to up the number of my seats, I have two seats now and was going to buy four. If they fire Norv and AJ tomorrow my seats will be paid off when the first bill comes!

I would venture to bet that there wont be any home night games to attend. All those empty seats dont look good on national TV.

Home prime-time games are the ones that WILL sell-out. They usually do (i.e. Ravens game this past year).

I understand the sentiment that some want to stick it to Dean via his pocketbook. But it will all be moot if this team performs well in 2012. If the Chargers are winning, fans will show up, fans will spend their money and vice versa.

Wait till the season rolls around, there will be a spike in season ticket sales. Once the Jones sets in arses will be filling the seats.

And there you have it! They may lose some season ticket holders, but ultimately if they are winning and playing well people will go.

I heard this somewhere, sort of a neo-quote, "If you bill it, they will come."

That's what was said of Tom Couglin in New York. Guess how many times he was supposed to be fired? Guess how many fans said they were giving up their season tickets? Look at the eventual result.

You're really going to reference Oakand and Washington? Two teams with the absolute WORST in ownership? Norv had ZERO team in Oakland and he was given one in Washington hand picked by Daniel Snyder. I don't care if you're the second coming of Lombardi or Bill Walsh. You won't win with either of those teams as they were constructed.

If those 2 are considered the 2 worst owners, want to take a guess who 3rd is?

And that owner hired Norv who has the best winning percentage in team history?

Please. Can't even compare Spanos with Snyder & Davis.

Any decent head coach handed a team 10 pro bowlers, including a franchise QB and HOF RB would have the best winning % in team history.

I mean how hard is it really? hes had 2 8-8 season, a 9-7 season and 2 "Good" seasons. Not impressed at all
