I heard it was a groin from Hank Bauer when I was walking back to the car.

How about Brandon McKinney? I saw him leave the game too. I'm surprised he wasn't burned in San Diego this week because he sure looks like a mountain.

I watched him through the binos after walking off the field and it looked like a wrist/hand. Not great, but better than something in his legs.

He must have confused Jammer with Phillips. Phillips hurt his groin after 2 series and sat the rest of the game. Jammer played the whole game.

Jammer was on the bench for a good portion of the fourth quarter.

Hank was definitely talking about two separate injuries.

With 9:12 left in the 4th quarter, Jammer dives to break up a 3rd down pass, and takes himself out of the game. He had a slight limp, but nothing was mentioned.

Thanks for checking that. Doesn't sound like anything that will sideline him for any length of time.

That PI call on Jammer was total crap. Dierdork tried to defend the call, but it was crap. Jammer might have extended his arm for a nanosecond, but that was well before the ball was in the air. That stupid side judge had to be corrected again in the 2nd half when he blew yet another call. It's rare that you see a flag thrown and no penalty called without an explanation. Typically, officials don't show each other up like that. But that call was so bad that the other official could not let it stand.

Although the first one was ticky-tac, it was not wrong. On the replay Jammer had is arm across the body of the WR keeping him from raising his left arm. That is going to get called. He needs to keep his arm in and not across the WR.

I agree, the second one was a completely blown call and was corrected.

On the first one, it should have been a non-call. The WR pushed off as well, to try and gain separation.

BS. Jammer's arm was across the body early in the route. Then, he pulled it back. If anything, it was an illegal contact penalty, not a PI penalty.

I Agree, seems that maybe Jammer has a rep for PI and officials call them a little closer than other CB, had it been someone else maybe it's not called, don't remember which play it was but in the NY - Mia game there was definetly more contact on a long pass and nothing was called

I was wondering if maybe Jammer screwed that guy's wife or something, both of those calls were ridiculous. Luckily, the second flag got picked up.

From his Monday afternoon PC, Norv commented on the following:

Phillips: strained groin, day to day
Jammer: aggravate Hamstring, day to day
McKinney: hyperextended elbow, day to day
Wilhelm: slight ankle sprain, day to day
    Williams: knees, day to day
    Davis: ankle, day to day

Said most of the guys should be ready for Sunday if needed.

My boy will be all right. He'll make Cro's performance look tame, as he will intercept Tavaris three times, taking two to the house
