Apparently Lebron James is considering joining the nfl. He wansts to sign as free agent. I think he would be perfect for the chargers offense. Imagine how nice having a 6 foot 8 260 lb receiver would be. Imagind Two six five and one 6 8 receiver line up. It would be impossible to defend. Lebron was an all state receiver in high school. At the very least he could be a good receiving tight end.

With the millions of dollars they currently have invested in him, I don’t foresee the Miami Heat allowing him to take up a dangerous activity like NFL football, just sayin’...

Don't be so sure. If he was soley a deep threat to open up the field he'd be ok. I mean he's more intimidating than megatron. Imagine rivers throwing jump balls to lebron!

I don't think the NBA had the same rules as the NFL when it comes to contracted players doing other things because several NBA players that were under contract, have signed contracts in Europe to play there

MJ to Baseball... that was a good idea. At least he got it off his bucket list real early. Maybe thats what Lebron is doin startin to feel like life has passed him bye and he needs to atone for things hes missed out on. TOO LATE! He could have been good or even a Gates had he made his choice differntly a while back.

He wouldn't be a bad signing lol.. Worth a shot.. he would deff be a receiving tight end.. that would solve our red zone difficulties real easy! haha

SO true. We need this. We'd be easy superbowl favorites this year. Just don't go calling us the dream team bc of it and we'd be fine!@

So long as he isn't in in the fourth quarter... We already have a bunch of ringless players why would we want another?

Completely different sport. He'd play a series or two before having a season ending surgery. Besides he "owes" rings to too many teams for us to take him.

Well he'd be good to have for that series. As long as there was no guaranteed money couldn't we just cut him after that?

Which team did Tim Tebow play against last week? I was watching Sportscenter and couldn't figure it out.

Sign LeBron for the jersey/merchandise sales only. If he can go to the corner of the end zone and jump, that would be good too.

He would be impossible to stop in the redzone, (Unless its the 4th quarter, then he'd just take plays off) but the first hard shot he took to his knees or ankles would finish the dude for both sports

He probably could do it but he would be a project. It would take him time and dedication to reach his potential. If he is playing football as only a diversion during the lockout forget it....if he was serious about it I would think he would be worth taking a chance on for some team.

HE would be the perfect compliment or replacement(when gates is injured) to Gates. Can you imagine a two TE set with gates and James both as TE and floyd and Jackson as WR. INSANITY!! IF the NBA season gets cancelled and he decides to go back to football for some reason we HAVE TO GET HIM!

Wow! If Usain Bolt isn't running, maybe we could pick him up too. He could be the perfect compliment to Vincent Jackson, Lebron James, and Gates. Could you imagine that??!! And while we're at it, let's dig up Lombardi from the grave and have him coaching alongside Norv...

I think the raiders would offer him more, you know how they are always looking for the best 40 times....
