Anyone see Jesse playing for miami? He had a few decent runs and one exceptional td score. He looks like he lost some weight.

Anyhow, I do hope he gets his career back on track. He was the first in the line of what is turning out to be legendary Charger backup RBs. :abq1:

Chatman was very helpful in 04 when LT was all banged up, too bad he wasn't ready to do it all himself right away. Maybe he'll come up in the world, become a 1200 yard rusher. Who knows?

Let's not forget how he showed up at camp the following year fat and out of shape. In the highlights of the game vs. Jacksonville, he looked slimmer.

Yeah, Chatman showed at the 2005 camps weighing nearly 250 lbs when the coaches wanted him around 230. When he played for us in 2004, he was about 235.

He's listed at 223 lbs now on his NFL.COM player page.

I always liked Peele too... but I guess he's got the Oregon connection ask well.

We need to make a list of all the former Chargers that went to Miami in the last 6 years.

    Junior Seau (in NE now)
    Justin Peele
    Cleo Lemon
    Toniu Fonoti (now gone)
    Damion McIntosh (now in KC)
    Jesse Chatman
David Boston (now with Tampa Bay)

    Anyone else?

    That's right.

Why don't we just send them all the players that don't make our team.

Oh, and NE too. They are starting to grab a few of our guys.

    You're talking about Kendyl Jacox.

Jacox was with the Bolts, then went to the Saints, then Miami.

I was thinking more like players that went directly from the Bolts to the Fins.

However, I did list Fonoti, who went to Minnesota first.....

    So, forget that. :D

When Miami will do anything good this season, we'll say
it's Cameron from San Diego and his helping hands from the
    west too.

Man, I used to think Chatman was such a great backup. I wasn't too happy that we got rid of him and kept a nobody in Turner. Boy was I wrong. But its cases like this I'd be 100% happy to be wrong.

Chatman is like a lot of guys who show early promise buy lack the dedication and drive to make themselves into first rate players. Ryan Leaf, Michael Ricks, Sammy Davis, Terrence Kiel, Fonoti, etc. Our roster has had more than its share.

Any of you guys that are still regulars at the UT need to remind deadcat2 that he used to fight tooth and nail swearing that Jesse was a better RB than LT. Let him know I'll never forget that one.

And I am serious. He really thought that.

I'm sure that he would like to forget that part of his life.

Although...... was he the one that started the "LT has lost a step" brouhaha ? ::icon_huh: :icon_shrug:
