I just read on my fantasy team that Kaeding isn't expected to play Sunday.

I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this.

    *cue jokes about missed FGs*

We don't need one since Scifres will be handling kickoffs and we will no longer be kicking FG's. Opting instead to go for it on every 4th down situation within FG range.

Yes. I'm just kidding. The guy we brough in during the offseason. I think it was Novak is kicking in the UFL right now and looks good. I wonder if we can bring him back in?

    Shayne Graham is available...?

I think that kicker we had in pre-season was good, but he's in the UFL right now so we can't pick him up.

Kris Brown, Jason Elam, Shayne Graham and Shaun Suisham

I'm down with anyone but Suisham.

    Long term if need be.

I'd rather have Norv handle the field goals than Shaun Suisham.

Why not hire a Rockette? At least they kick better than any of these bozos! Maybe we can ask the great guru One Coolo guy and get the greatest virtual kicker in the world. Oh who could that be? Or maybe get ahold of Wade Richey, if he isn't too busy after his shift loading trucks at the Wal-Mart warehouse in Little Rock...

Kris Brown spent the last 8 yrs w/Houston Texans. The 33-year old has compiled 77.3% of his FG attempts.

So with Kris Brown in town, does that mean Rhiana will be staying away?

Is he related to Bobby Brown? Where did they find this guy, was he cleaning streets in Kickapoo, Illinois?

I wonder how scifi would do with fg's? He's got a hell of a leg and considering he can kick the ball off the tee for ko's how much practice would he really need to kick fg's?

    And welcome Kris Brown.

As I mentioned somewhere else, Scifi was the guy kicking off for us during the game. And did you notice that his kicks made it all the way to the endzone? Maybe in an ironic twist, they could have Kaeding hold for Scifres on FG's...

Kris Brown lost the kicking job in Houston to Rackers while he was nursing an injury if I recall.
He didn't get to show much in preseason and Rackers was "money".

Prediction: Kris Brown kicks his way onto this team and Kaeding is shown the door.

p.s. Brown set an NFL single-game record with three field goals of 54 yards or more. Neil Rackers, Connor Barth, and Morten Andersen are the only other kickers to kick three field goals of 50+ yards in a single game.
    Career long 57 yarder.

bit of a pisser for Novak, in one game for the Bolts he could have earned what the UFL are paying him for their entire season

Good idea, way to save cap room and a roster spot as well. All we have to worry about is Sci Fi's accuracy. I for one have never kicked a field goal so I really can't comment on how hard that is, but as you noted his kickoffs stayed in the field of play.
