"If" the almighty Chargers make it to the SB next year, who is down to go to AZ and watch the game at some bar out there?

Watch it at a bar? Screw that! I'll be at the game dude!

I did a search for hotels in that area around the SB date. Found a place that'll let me use my credit card points so it won't cost me a thing.

Well, this past SB I think the face value was $700 & $800. Scalped, anything goes. With AZ being so close, I'll be there!
(uh...that is if the the wife will let me. :icon_tease: )

If I am going to 'Zona, it is to see the team LIVE and not to sit in a fuggin bar. That **** can be done here or at home.

One of the brothers (VFV22) already has reserved a hotel room close to the stadium.

I would rather make the drive from here (5 hours) or rent one of those motor homes for a weekend and rip **** up. :bolt: :bolt2: :icon_toast:

I know when the Super Bowl was in SD about 5 years ago, that had to be one of the best times in my life and that was a bucs and Raider game! And I was watching the game at the gaslamp district at one of those bars.

I guess some fans would go just for the bar scene to be in the same town but that does not cut it for me. I would have to get in the game to make that drive or flight worth while otherwise it is too gay of an idea.

My wife's aunt owns a house near Tempe, though I do not know exactly where. My wife's cousin lives there as she goes to ASU. My wife and I are gonna go to AZ for the Super Bowl whomever goes, but if it our Bolts, then I'm going to the game, no matter what it costs.

    HOUSE PARTY!!!!!!!!

Yeah block parties work. Tent City. Portable pissers.

If organized somewhat, we could turn it into another away tailgater from hell. :abq2: :icon_toast:

If I get my hands on Super Bowl tickets because I am a season ticket holder, it is pretty much "ON". :icon_toast: :helm1:

    I will be going regardless.

NFL experience was cool when it was here in SD. Didn't get anything but i'll be sure to get something this time in AZ.

Also, the college area of ASU is really nice. When I went to the MNF Miami / San Diego game, I didn't even know it was the college area. It looks like downtown to me with a bunch of bars.
