    IF YOU GO

Where: Chargers Park, 4020 Murphy Canyon Road

Rookies and select veterans report: Tonight

First rookie practice: Tomorrow (not open to public)

    Veterans report: Thursday night

    First full-squad practice: Friday

    Admission: Free

Parking: On weekdays, it is on the street behind (east of) the Holiday Inn at 3805 Murphy Canyon Road, with overflow parking at the Holiday Inn. Parking for weekend and night practices is along Murphy Canyon Road and at the business center immediately south of Chargers Park. Parking is free. There are no shuttles from Qualcomm Stadium.

What you can bring: Coolers are permitted, but no alcohol. Food is also available for purchase. Cameras are allowed, but the team's security force is diligent about not permitting video cameras.

Seating: Bleacher seating is available, or fans can bring their own seats. Fans also stand three or four deep along the fence lining the practice field.

Viewing tips: Many weekday practices are sparsely attended. That's a good time to get unobstructed and up-close views. Those coming on the weekend or at night should come early if they want to get close to the fence. Also, most drills are done on the grass fields. So the bleachers and fence line along those fields are the best vantage points. The linebackers are hams, and their drills are fun to watch. They do individual drills along the fence, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
