I'd love to go! I'm deploying for close to a year in late August, so no season tickets for me again. If anyone has a couple of cheap tickets for sale, let me know and I'll be there!

I need football, so I'll try my best! Though I'm not off work until 5, hopefully I can book it down in time to enjoy the tailgate fun :) fingerscrossed I can convince my boss to let me out early.

@pure-sol stubhub always has great prices on pre-season tickets :)

Hi guys.... I've a fellow Irishman travelling over for the Seahawks game weeks 2. If u guys are tailgating for that game (I'm sure u will be) it'd be great to have him meet all of you fine fine folks and see how we roll in America's finest city. The guy is a Packers fan but has a soft spot for the Bolts. He has a podcast here in Ireland and can be found on twitter @overtimeireland.

If he is a friend of yours, I hope we can supply enough beer for the lad... Don't you worry though, we will be in our usual spot and I can take him over to meet with the Bolt Pride folks. Maybe if he likes, I can take him out for a mini tour of a couple of our new microbreweries for a pint or two. Or three or four...

Just to reiterate, anyone who is a fan of tailgating can join us on Game Day. We even (unwittingly) accept most fans of other teams, the ribbing is free... You don't have to belong to this site or any of the many sites that support the Chargers to enjoy the fun at our tailgate parties. All we ask is that if you want to grub with us, the cooks have a donation bucket which is very much appreciated for the wonderful food that they provide. You can also bring a potluck type of item and share with our other tailgaters, sort of like a family gathering. Well, maybe a bit of a strange family, but it's fun nonetheless...

For what it's worth, (not much by now) I still have an extra ticket for this game. Contact me if interested via PM or by posting a response here. Reasonable offers will be seriously considered.

    Thanks,

I just heard from Victor. The usual spot has been fenced off. We will be locking down a spot a little further down but as close to M4 as possible.

These are the pics he sent me

^^^ Yes, it appears that those fence poles are set in concrete, and in all fairness it is probably out of concern for the washed out asphalt and earth under that section of the trolley bridge. It is a safety issue and they did it to avoid potential lawsuits. As for the group, we need to come up with an alternate plan for a tailgate area. Perhaps we may need to consolidate our group with our tailgating neighbor, Matt and his group. Or we may need to bring in a couple of canopies and stay in the same spot, given the confines of our party area may be quite narrow.
