interesting mock...dont think gattis is a first rounder at this point. neither is troy smith. and reggie nelson is so hot right now, he could be top 15 and the first DB taken...reminds me of Huff last year.

Yes Gattis should be a first he has rare size and speed combo and he will show it off at the combine! Troy Smith, trust me didnt want to put him there I dont even like him but alot of scouts seem to think he will go first round to Baltimore! Yes Reggie Nelson is hot right now but doesnt exactly have prototypical size for a safety like Landry and Gattis, but you probably will be right! But this mock is so early that I am projecting where they will fall with a few surprises! No one thought last year that LenDale White would fall all the way to the second round either so there wiil be some interesting things happen!

    Thanks for giving the effort.

It's impossible to tell where anyone will go before the all the Bowls and the Combine, but it's fun to think about.

Troy Smith is a great football player, I don't give a **** about the Heisman curse and I don't give a **** about his height. Anytime you have a quarterback who is a great decision maker and has good mobility, he will succeed in the NFL. Top that off with an arm that can seriously make all the throws and a quick release. Smith can run a pro style offense. He's a great leader. His upside is ultimately Drew Brees with athleticism. This kid drops past 20 and everyone is on crack. Whoever gets him will be getting a franchise quarterback. Yes he will need time to adjust to the NFL but who doesn't? Anyone think Brady Quinn will have a 100+ QB rating his first year? Yeah ok. Troy Smith will ultimately be the best quarterback in the upcoming draft.

Well Sam Baker has declared that he is staying in school for another year and Marcus McCaulley maybe be overhyped, but if you think Laron Landry is overhyped you are kidding yourself!

lol, easy there MTL you maybe right but name the last QB that came out of Ohio St and was a star in the NFL? Nothing against Troy Smith but in the NFL he isnt going to be throwing to Ted Ginn who has 10 yards on the DB, no offense but you and I could make some of the wide open throws he made! I am not saying that he cant be good but the odds are stacked against him! He is a product of the Ohio St system!

Last year people were saying Laurence Maroney was a product of the Minny system, Chad Jackson was a product of the UM offense, blah blah it is all bull. Don't buy into that crap. I guess Jimmy Clausen, regardless if he breaks every single NCAA single season record at QB next year, will be a part of the 'notre dame system' no matter what right? Guess he should fall into the second round...

I'd rather not go safety unless Laron Landry is at 32
I'd look at Kevin Kaesharvarian from Cincy or Deon Grant from Jax

whoa loren definetly not Kevin Kaesviharn or however you spell it, The name of the game is upgrade and that he is not! I live in cincy remember and their is a reason he is a backup! Deon Grant I would like but we dont really make many moves in Free Agency Mcree was a good one but outside of that we did nothing! I would like Grant and then take Buster Davis with that pick!
