    Bolts add Withrow

The Chargers added depth to their offensive line Tuesday with the signing of veteran NFL center/guard Cory Withrow.

“He’s a veteran interior offensive lineman and is versatile,” Schottenheimer said. “He plays guard and center. We felt like we needed to get an experienced guy in there who can work with us.”

The 6-2, 287-pound Withrow is in his seventh NFL season. He spent his first six years in the league with the Minnesota Vikings, playing in a total of 80 regular-season games with 13 starts. He has also played in four career playoff games. Last season, Withrow played in all 16 games and started seven games at center for the Vikings.

You just never know, he could be a diamond-in-the-rough.

Teams go dumpster-diving. Sometimes they find treasure in someone else's trash. Just ask KT. He's an expert.

Actually, I think Hallen is more talented than this guy.

BTW: Hallen just left the Browns camp. Injuries and personnel reasons. He's probably going to retire. Cleveland is hurting BAD for a center.

KT has also let some diamonds in the rough get away.

We NEED O-Line depth, but is this guy the answer. Maybe we'll get lucky and find another good O-Lineman after the roster cutdowns. Don't imagine it would be anyone worth raving about at this point though.

We haven't even seen the first preseason game, so I'm not sure whether we need more OL depth or not.

We need to see what the young guys bring to the table first .....
