After a three interception performance in the first half, the dude deserves his own thread. Amazing ....

*** Edit - Three angles of his "sick" pick ......

    Of note .....

On Sproles kickoff return to start the game, Cro came from about 10 yards back and caught Sproles 10 yards before the goal line - and Cro coasted before he caught him. Think about that, and also think that Sproles was faster than every Colt player chasing him.

Cromartie only beat Gordon by a "step" for the fastest man on the team title. Those two can fly. Cro has SICK speed. Seriously.

Florence should sit the bench, Cro and Jammer need to be the starting CB's.
Cro is the only playmaker on this defense right now.

This kid is really special. When i heard the news he would be starting in place of jammer i already knew that he would use this as a chance to show all of us what he can really do. Every week he surprises me with more than one awesome athletic play. No wonder he was drafted #1... i say we keep him starting the kid can only get better the more he plays.

That one armed pick was one of the best INT's I've ever SEEN watching the NFL. Reminds me of John Jeffersons one armed catch for a TD against the Faiders a LONG time ago!

Even though D'Flo made one or two good hits tonight, I saw him mainly get worked the rest of the time.

I agree with the demotion of D'Flo to nickel (or even the bench) for the rest of the season and letting Cro take his spot now.

    What an athlete.

How many ints has Jammer had in his career?

    Yes, he's still good.

Although, I can see Cro supplanting Jammer as the #1 CB on the team by the end of next season if he keeps playing like this. The one thing Cro still needs to learn better is tackling.

Jammer is a good CB...granted he's gotten better in the last two years, but based on what we're seeing, Cro is rapidly becoming our best CB.
CRO is out rocking Jammer, and it's not even close. Right now we need playmakers.

I don't understand labeling a CB at "#1" or whatever. There are two starters at CB. This whole #1 WR ... #1 CB ... etc is just "Madden" game **** that has become a staple in football lingo. No one ever said "#1 WR" or "#1 CB" ten years ago. Bullshit Madden and ESPN highlight clip crap.

    It's ridiculous.

Cromartie needs to watch Jammer and learn how to friggin' tackle.

I dig Cro .... he's got speed and talent that is very, very rare.

His two drawbacks right now are:

    1. Some technique issues. He gets caught out of position at times, and he grabs to make up for it. That draws flags. Time and experience will cure that (hopefully).

    2. He does too many matador ole's while tackling. He needs to wrap up more.

Fix those two things, and he has a chance to be one of the best CB's in the NFL.

Great pics. Soooooo great to watch that. I'm still smiling whenever I think about it.

And I did notice Cromartie catch up to Sproles. Mighty Mouse was in a dead sprint with his lil' legs moving as fast as they could, then you see Cromartie galloping effortlessly next to him outta nowhere.

In the last 4 games, he has 6 int's, 3 tds, 3 (team) wins, and 1 unbreakable record. i think the fool has officially broken out.

    IT'S A CROMARTIE PARTY!!!

I agree, the issue of getting caught out of position it just a matter of experience, it's easy to see he just needs starting time.
However your point about wrapping up is the biggest concern I see. He likes to throw a shoulder into the ball carrier, that will cost us at some point.

Cro is on fire the last three games, that's for sure..... what I'm wondering is how lame are our coaches that he hasn't been moved up to starter over Florence?

    5 picks
    3 TDs
    3 games

ya think he's earned a starting spot?

Worst case, Cro is DFlo minus the boneheaded personal foul calls.

Chargers save money by not having to pay D'Flo next year!

    Cro's "still gotta do" list:

1.) Have a kick return for a TD.
He almost had one last year and I'm not sure the 109 yarder last week qualifies in the traditional sense.

2.) Have a punt return for a TD.

3.) Have a long TD catch in the WR position.

4.) Have a long TD run in the RB position.

    5.) Throw for a TD.

6.) Get a sack on a corner blitz.
