The more I look at it, the more I think that tattoos help to make his arms look grotesquely huge.

...EDIT... I just looked him up, here is a picture in 03.

He looked savage back then too...

    That ain't ****.

Rivers benched 400 pounds in college and showed up to camp even more buffed out. Acee is an ahole sometimes calling Rivers guns beanpoles given he benches a sick 400 pounds.

    Buffed-up Rivers exudes poise

Philip Rivers' arms are bigger after months of workouts, not that it was difficult to increase the circumference of those beanpoles.

Not necessarily. You can get guns like that through genetics, and an aggressive workout regimen.

    Trust me.

Okay, I might as well call my shot right now: The Jets will go 6-10 this year. They are by far the most overrated team in the NFL. They had a ridiculously easy schedule in '06, pulled out some miracle wins, and Pennington defied all odds (and his personal history) by staying healthy and productive throughout.

6-10 and last place in the AFC East. You read it here first.

I hear Leisure has one arm (forearm to be exact) that's much bigger after months of working it...uhh, I mean "out" as well. Wonder if he can lift 400lbs with it. :icon_shrug:

I remember the picture of Julius in the campus newspaper when he was let back into school. Very similar appearance in the gun department

    Dont think so

I remember an article a few years back about micheal pittman where he said that arizona was so boring that there was nothing to do besides working out

If you ever see some of those guys in arizona, most of them are beastly

Rivers did 25 reps of 225 lbs at the combine beating many RB's and DB's. He is strong.

Thomas Jones is a big boy so im not surprised altho he does look very big there. He has always had big guns tho.

I personally think David Boston is a bad example... Because that fool definitely did Steroids. His muscles (in the pic) look to be the most unnatural. I can practically see his track marks. The rest of those guys look pretty legit to me, I've seen a bunch of our players around school and a number of them are cut up like that.

I dont know, hes been in the NFL for a while now and has never tested positive for anything

I remember when he was here, there was an article about his workout regiment, and while it was pretty extreme, it all seemed pretty legit, so until something comes out saying he tested positive, ill give him the benefit of the doubt

I remember when this happened, I dunno if this was ever resolved or something...

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1940497

I understand that this knowledge definitely leads to bias... That aside his muscles are super bulky and just look unnatural to me.

Here is something we can agree on tho lol... Gregg Valentino used steroids...

    before..

    after...

^The bulk i'm talking about... To a ridiculous extent obviously.
