So, a colleague sent this to me on Twitter tonight - similar to the one a number of us were using last year, but this one updates weekly with rankings and underclassman declares. The A.I. isn't particularly brilliant but it gives a good feel for how things could pan out because it reflects runs on particular positions better than I've seen other mock generators do.

Knock yourselves out! Below is one of the final results of mine I was most satisfied with.

Nix fell in the 1st and was a no-brainer. In the 2nd I was stuck in a bind with the best pass-rushers available being Attaochu (I was tempted) and Dee Ford (not so much), with Chris Smith having gone the pick prior to ours. I took Adams on a pure value/semi-need basis because I've got a low 1st grade on him so to get him in the later 1/3 of Round 2 I considered a steal. In the 3rd, no pass-rusher (aside from possibly Lawrence - other options were Jeffcoat and Marcus Smith) was worth the pick as much as Gaines (who is my #3 corner in the class; #2 on pure floor) was. Lawrence was still available in the 4th and I couldn't get the pick in quick enough. Narrowly missed out on Bryan Stork (C/G from Florida State; who had no business being there that late) in the 5th, so I made a slight reach (about 12-15 spots from where I had him ranked) on Groy because he fits Joe D's scheme to a "T" and coming out of an extremely similar one at Wisconsin. Was a toss-up between Reynolds and Victor Hampton in the 6th - I went with the more versatile guy with the higher football IQ (Reynolds reminds me a lot of Gilchrist - so the two could be used interchangeably: One in the slot, one at S, or vice versa). And Bromley was a value pick at a 5-Tech in the 7th that has as much upside as Guy does and should at minimum push Scaife for his roster spot.

    22 CB IFO EKPRE-OLOMU - OREGON
54 OG ZACK MARTIN - NOTRE DAME
86 DT WILL SUTTON - ARIZONA STATE
118 OLB CARL BRADFORD - ARIZONA STATE
    150 RB DE’ANTHONY THOMAS - OREGON
    182 C GABE IKARD - OKLAHOMA
214 FB RYAN HEWITT - STANFORD

I think I did ok in the first 3 rounds, I don't really know much about the players beyond the top 50 or so, so just tried to pick anyone I'd actually heard of before!

    YOUR PICKS
    22
    CB DARQUEZE DENNARD
    MICHIGAN STATE
Nix/Mack off the board early, either him or Beasley and I thought Dennard was the better value
    54
    OLB JEREMIAH ATTAOCHU
    GEORGIA TECH
Think I reached here but I needed a pass rusher, didn't want to wait for Hubbard or Ford next round, so went with a guy with a ton of upside
    86
    OG ANTHONY STEEN
    ALABAMA
Took him over Sua F'ilo for two reasons; I think Troutman has earned that left guard position (as much as I'd like to move him next to Fluker again) and Steen played with Fluker at Alabama on the right side, think the two of them will play well together again.
    118
    WR JALEN SAUNDERS
    OKLAHOMA
Best player available on a pretty depleted board. Think he's already pretty polished and think he can step in immediately if Floyd/DX aren't available and Brown isn't effective again.
    150
    RB JAMES WILDER JR.
    FLORIDA STATE
BPA again, we need a pounding running back instead of Brown. I want someone who can move a pile when he runs into it. Wilder definitely can do that, and rotating him and Mathews should keep them healthy
    182
    DE AARON LYNCH
    USF
His talent was too good to pass up in the 6th round. No idea what I'd do with him but can work with him on being an OLB pass rush specialist or put his hand on the ground on third down.
    214
    DT BEAU ALLEN
    WISCONSIN
When all the other NTs I like (Nix/Carruthers) are gone, the next tier for me includes Allen and Kerr from Delaware. I'll stick with Allen for now.

To say the least, if we get these players in the draft, Telesco is GAWD.

    1. OLB Vic Beasley
    2. WR Davante Adams
    3. SS Deone Buccanon
    4. CB Pierre Desir
    5. NT Ryan Carrethers
    6. OLB Aaron Lynch
    7. C Jonotthan Harrison

    1st round 22
OLB KHALIL MACK - No brainer, surprised he fell.
    BUFFALO

    2nd round 54
CB KYLE FULLER - top corner left and nobody else at that point made as much sense.
    VIRGINIA TECH

    3rd round 86
DT DAQUAN JONES - Big enough to play the nose, don't know if he's a scheme fit.
    PENN STATE

    4th round 118
C TYLER LARSEN - Replace Clary at guard until Hardwick retires.
    UTAH STATE

    5th round 150
RB DE’ANTHONY THOMAS - Gives us more for the return game, can be our wildcard, dexter mccluster type.
    OREGON

    6th round 182
OLB BOSEKO LOKOMBO - Depth to play ILB and special teams
    OREGON

7th round 214 - We don't have this pick (Lissemore)
RB STEPHEN HOUSTON - Bigger back to take on Ronnie Browns role.
    INDIANA

    1. Khalil Mack OLB/ Buffalo- No brainer since he fell to me.

    2. Timmy Jernigan DT/Florida St- Not you're prototypical 3-4 NT @ 300lbs. But has immense strength, and the ability shed blockers well.

    3. Bryan Stork C/Florida St- Hardwicks replacement.

    4. Jaylen Watkins CB/Florida- Has looked pretty solid since taking over for Roberson.

    5. Ryan Carrethers DT/Arkansas St- BPA at this point.
    More beef on the dline.

    6. Isaiah Crowell RB/Alabama St - Former UGA RB that has had off the field issues but has seemingly matured. Could be a diamond in the rough.
