it will be ok my ninja

even if a player takes a performance enhancer and is suspended more games than a cheating coach,

the nfl is still the best league in sports

the chargers will still win bro

Sorry you guys lost. For the record, the NFL isn't fixed. The refs sure aren't perfect, though.

Is there a particular call you were complaining about?

    1. How do you know the Krafts covered him?

    2. What does that have to do with the NFL being fixed?

    3. The Pats had a better record than you this year, so, by your logic the Bolts REALLY blow.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how the Patriots creep into all your "whiney" threads. We're all at home playing Xbox while you guys are trying to make the AFC Championship. Seriously, be thankful for post season play. Stop crying about New England and the East Coast. It's pretty juvenile.

    The NFL is hardly fixed.

Let's not turn into sore loser crybabies making up excuses and conspiracy theories like a lot of Colts fans were doing after last week.

The Chargers quit and the Steelers came to play, that's all there is to it.

its pretty juvenile to try to piss people off deliberately. how old are you? idk if you are a troll or not but theres no reason for you to reply to a "nfl is fixed" thread unless you are insecure about something.

Very true, but making Kraft and Belichick scapegoats of the loss really isn't very ingenuous.

Buddy, I'm going to write this one off as a guy who's had a bit too much to drink and isn't quite right ,mentally, at the moment.

    I'll give you a mulligan.

In case you didn't pick it up, my "typical" was to my buddy SDbound, who's a bit of a special case. It was not a commentary on all Bolt fans so calm down.

If you enjoy carrying SD's jock for him, keep talking, otherwise go and mope somewhere else.

Players can win games. Coaches can lose them, but officials can RUIN them...

With that said, my only complaint was a non-call, the rag doll throwdown of Rivers by woodley. That should have been roughing the passer or unncecessary roughness which would have extended the drive for the Chargers.
I feel the chances for that linebacker to draw a fine from the league on Monday are pretty good, albeit to no benefit of the Chargers....

I'd have to agree with you on that one JTango. Should have been a roughing call.

How about that River's interception after Sproles great return? That looked a lot like the Vincent Jackson's diving "no catch" overrule.

If they caught an NBA ref fixing games, don't think it can't happen in ANY sport, especially one of the more popular ones.

I'm not blaming the refs, because we still played like crap. It was a good ride while it lasted.

And P.S., Phil Simms is another Joe Theismann. YOU SUCK PHIL!

Its all the Pats fault we did not win today.
The Steelers know how to win the big games, and we don't.

I know what the game is, but you and I both know the league tries to protect its QBs. That linebacker will get a fine. Book it..

that pass interference call was totally bogus against us. But the ball hitting weddle on the helmet was a curse from god. I wasn't worried till I saw the ball hit weddles helmet and they got the ball. Then I thought this just isn't gonna work.

Yep. This one was on us. Were there some bullshit calls? Sure. There always are. But they didn't cost us the game. What cost us the game was our defense and coverage teams played like ****, and we just did not get the bounces today. The "interception" in the 3rd quarter was a good play by the Steelers lineman and really bad luck for us that it was tipped up the way it was. The punt that hit the top of Weddle's helmet was a bad play by him, but it was also just another example of the ball not bouncing our way.

I was proud of the way our team battled, but they just did not make enough plays to win the game. The defense seemed to be a step late all day, and the offense committed too many penalties in the first half and did not get enough chances in the 2nd.

I was proud of the way our team battled today, and I give credit to Pittsburgh. They were the better team.

some people need to grow up.

Blaming the refs because we lost is as about as idiotic as they come!

    It’s the refs fault.

We have reached a new low!

there were bad calls, and some BS question marks
but we lost the game throughout the third quarter, and that wasn't the refs, that was rivera and norv and the defense

its the refs fault that the Dline tipped the ball up and caught it. Then its the Refs fault the ball hit Weddle in the head. Its the refs fault we were only able to get 15 yards on the ground. Its the ref's fault Ben sat back in the pocket and do anything he wanted to do.

And part of it was just bad luck.

I know some may find this unbelievable, but you can't control everything out on the football field.

We got out played none of the calls were game changing in the way that would have made the outcome any different. The team did the best they could under the circumstances with the players we have now.

and there is half the problem, we never knew what team was going to show up for a game.

One week we could not catch a cold, and the next they were walking on water.

If the team that played Indy showed up today, Big Ben would of been running for his life.
