Take a look at what we have left:

    1. Baltimore ( home ) The are not the team we faces last year, we can beat them 1-0
    2. At Kansas City the are having problems with injuries, we owe them 2-0
    3. At Tennessee I see us beating this team in a shoot out, but it is no gimme game 3-0
    4. Detroit - This is the only one remaining that really worries me, they can get hot with the pass. 3-1
    5. Denver - We will beat these guys, but already control the west 4-1
    6. Oakland - Yeah... 5-1

That is a 10-6 season. I truly think the west is ours, and this team is good enough to make post season. We have to play the games, but I think the players will get things figured out and get it going the right direction.

I see 6-0 there, but that is with a team with heart. We don't have that.

a victory over KC would put them at 7 losses at the least

a victory over Denver at 6 losses with a tiebreaker over them

they still have to play each other

so if the Chargers win those two games they'll most likely win the division

I still say 9-7 and a second round loss

This thread is so bitter sweet, I agree we should finish with at least ten wins, fuq imo we should damn near already be there. I want a playoff berth and want to stay positive but what fools would we have to be to think that team that played on sunday has a snowballs chance in july in alabama (hell is way overused) of beating anyone worth mentioning in the playoffs.

Conc, I REALLY want to believe you. Really, I do.

But I've stopped thinking who we could/should beat as I don't know what team we'll see from game to game. Losing to Minnesota put me in that mindset. Ok...losing to KC started it. But the Minnesota game just cemented it for me.

We can finish with a flurry, but everyone, but everyone, has to get there head screwed on straight. Unless Rivers gets consistent and unless Teddy realizes that he has to scheme to his players talents instead of forcing them to play to the scheme, we could be in for more roller coaster rides.

Denver has an easier schedule for the remaining 6 games IMO. I can see them going 9-7, or 10-6. The game against them on Christmas Eve will be big for us. If they lose to Chicago this week, they will be 9-7, or 8-8.

I also see us having a harder time on the road in Tennessee, than the home game against the Lions. The Lions are not good on the road, better at home. We are not good on the road this year, better at home. That's how I see it. We could easily beat Tennessee, but it being a road game I have my doubts. After the Minnesota game, and the Green Bay game that got away in the final minutes, nothing suprises me.:icon_eek:

If Norv can get our offense going against the ravens, we
will win the west. If he doesn't our season could end 8-8.

OK... Hell I dont know, I always wanted the witch to win. Evil Flying Monkeys rule!

Although, the Scifi show, TIN MAN which is based on the wizard of Oz, has the Tin Man looking for a brain. That is how I remember the original too.

Gramps is right, I am all fugged up in my recolections...

On her way Dorothy befriends a Scarecrow with no brain (also played by Ray Bolger), a Tin Woodman with no heart (also played by Jack Haley), and a Cowardly Lion (also played by Bert Lahr).

    Sorry LT21.

Moral of this post is: let's just hope we can pull off the rest of the season with no more losses. If that happens, we win the west, and then have a shot at something in the post season. I'm scared to guess what our shot is, but I'll take any shot at this point!

    WE CAN!

Look at the game against Denver. Look at the game against Jacksonville. It was not as ugly as I fist thought when I rewatched it. Flags derailed some good drives. Rivers was playing better under pressure (granted he is not perfect, but who is). The D go tired.

We have a good team. Del Rio, a coach I respect the hell out of gave the team props, they are not false words. He EXPECTS to play is again.

We have a good team, and it is better to get hot now, than early. We beat Baltimore and we start rolling. Baltimore has problems right now. We are better offensively than they are, and I think our ranking defensively is misleading.

We can and WILL do this! Do not lose faith!

Now... *puts on asbestos undies* Flame away!:icon_rofl:

I'm with you! Too bad we have to wait 4 days and change to see this come to fruition. That said, the wins haven't been as ugly as they appear when I'm a few beers in, emotion and all, but losses are still tough to swallow. I hope this week is it- I really do!

Emotions of game time always cloud my perception. I expect us to dominate, but I love a scrappy win like that of the Colts game.

We earned the Colts victory, it wasn't luck.

Of course the game where we scored a ton of points in the first half, and couldn't get a first down in the second worried me. Since that time of the Coaches turning it off, the O has been struggling to turn it back on. Norval needs to stop tuning it off.
