Humdrum season ? Proof that he's not watching the Chargers games.

Those last two games are probably the most exciting games I've ever seen !! :bolt:

If it is not happening on the East coast, he doesn't notice.

His **** is old and tired. Is there a print sports rag that is worth a crap these days?

ESPN The Mag - Camp *** Wipe.
Sporting News - Bird Cage Lining.
Sports Illust. - Potty training paper for the puppy.

Most of the articles are horrid.

Most of the Mags are done as for as the serious fan is concerned. Considering the Internet allows us all to read the latest stories as they unfold we don't have to wait to read about them in a magazine.

As a result their are a lot of people who post on sport web sites who have some very interesting takes. The bottom line I don't bother to read a lot of the writers articles that I use to and I think that is pretty wide spread.

If there was good, quality writing in a sports weekly magazine, I would get it. But it's all been dumbed down for the lowest common denomenator. I can get that kind of crap on one of a dozen websites.

He's probably a Texans fan so he has watched only 2 winning games this year and both against Jacksonville so he hasn't watched proper football all season:icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

pete prisco has always been incompetent, and dr. z comes out with his rankings on wednesdays bc hes too dumb to actually think for himself, or really analyze the game. but in all honesty, he does try to provide a humorous aspect to the rankings, which i can appreciate most of the time, but i am with you fellas on this one.

I have had a subscription to Sports Illustrated since the late 70s and it is expiring next month and I am not renewing. Kind of sad, but it isn't worth paying $75 a year for it anymore. It was the last holdout of decent sports print journalism, but these days the internet has taken over. Time to move on.

Oh, and to add to your list:

Pro Football Weekly - Kindling to get the barbeque fired up.

Fortunately, the BCS hasn't infected the NFL with it's ranking nonsense.

Once we win the Super Bowl, I think we may have a legitimate argument for #1.

Although, you never know, some sports writer may still rank us #2 after that.....

i swear Dr. Z is a idiot piece of crap loser.

i hate the fact that he does his picks with a hot model and has no game at all. what a douchebag.

also none of his rankings comments say nothing about why he put them there except stupid old adages that no one cares about

    LOCK OF THE WEEK

San Diego over Oakland. Forget Air Coryell. Give me Ground Schottenheimer. The Chargers have quickly become the league's most electric team, and LaDainian Tomlinson is literally starting to run away with NFL MVP. Watching him and Philip Rivers operate together has been amazing, and their defense is about to get to full strength. This team is on the brink of becoming a bona fide Super Bowl front-runner, and a dominant performance against an inferior opponent will make that a fact. Chargers 45, Raiders 3.
