    Now what?

Who do we get, Jacksonville or ???

Doesn't matter to me, but I think I would take Cleveland or Tenn over Jax

Do we rest our wounded next week?

Personally, I want PR to continue to play unless his knee is acting up. He needs the work. Rest LT and our D against the raiders.

Interesting dilemna that the Colts have as they are essentially going to decide who we play.

Tennessee is one of the most physical teams in the NFL. I believe the Chargers would take care of them at home, but I don't want to be beat up going into Indy (Look at the last game against the Titans). That being said, it's the freaking playoffs, hook the chinstrap up and go play some football.

Go Chargers, end the Pats perfect season.:abq1:

The three seed will PROBABLY be ours. Just give Clinton a call over the weekend tell him to abstain from sexual intercourse with his girlfriend and no booze because I don't want him getting burned by a Jamarcus Russell long bomb and it's in the bag

There is no one we can't beat right now, especially with Jamal, Luis and Shawne getting healthy. Jamal is getting some rest at just the right time. TTFN and have a happy day, folks.

We need to beat down the fuggin' Raiders before we have locked up the #3 seed. Another good *** kicking before the playoffs start should be fun !!!

I don't think Dungy and the Colts will look at it like that. Who the Chargers play in round one really shouldn't influence their thinking. I think they will try to eliminate Tennessee, because the Titans play them tough and I think they would rather not see TN in the playoffs.

I honestly don't care who SD faces in round one. JAX, TN, or the Cleveland Crayons. Bring 'em on, and let's whoop their ***. :bolt:

Don't be too sure, Trumpet. The Raiders have nothing to play save for and they want to change our winning streak against them.
They are now stronger than Denver. We'LL win, but it will be a very
hard game. Hopefully with no main injuries.

The Raiders will be starting a rookie QB who barely knows the vanilla portion of their offense. The Raiders cashed in last week vs Jacksonville.

    This will be a slaughter.

One game at a time. I hate these premature threads.

I hate the Raiders worse. Seed or not, they need a beating and we have to go there to get 'er done.

    Step 1: Kill teh Raiders.

Step 2: Worry about playoff seeding.

Step 3: Kill whoever comes to SD in 2 weeks.

Man lookin at that really shows just how tough the AFC is compared to the NFC. 1-5 seeds in the AFC could all be favored against the #1 seed Cowboys, especially if Romo and Owens are hurt. And can you believe the Giants, Bucs, and Redskins are playoff teams? And the Titans maybe not?

Quick, name Tampa's starting QB... is it Luke McCown? Brad Gradkowski? Jeff Garcia? Maybe Brad Johnson again for all I know.

Seattle is a one-dimensional, all-passing team now. Shaun Alexander is damn near done.

And I still think, as good as GB is now, where would they be if they had traded for Randy Moss and Michael Turner like they should've? #1 seed for sure. And for only a 1st, a 3rd, and a 4th.

Ah well, SD all da way!

We beat the Raiders and it's ours. Do you honestly believe we're going to lose the the Raiders? The same team that hasn't beat us since Sept. 28th, 2003? The same team that has been outscored in games against us since then, 208 to 112? ...and there rookie QB is getting his first start against our D?

I think the bigger question MTL is not whether we win or lose this game, but how many times will Russell be sacked? I have a feeling this kid won't last the entire game.

I couldn't find a current injury report, so I don't know how close to full speed Mawae and Haynesworth are. I really hope the Colts nut up and play to win. I would like to see the Titans shut out of the playoffs all together after the cheap shot crap they pulled, but we can beat anyone we play before the AFC championship game. Then the real fun starts.
